We all love to hear what cruises you are booked on.
 
I post the Bon Voyage threads 7 days before sailing so, to be included in this, you need to post your details here to allow sufficient time to be on the updated Future Cruise Listing.  It’s better to post earlier than later but if it is later please post THREE weeks in advance to make sure it doesn’t get missed.
           
We would also be interested to know if this is your first cruise, your first HAL cruise or if you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary.  Details needed are in the 2nd post of this thread.

Hi Jacqui,

 

It must be frustrating keeping up with all the changes these days. Unfortunately, I have a couple more. 

 

We decided to cancel our two November 2020 cruises out of Fort Lauderdale. The way the virus is progressing in Florida, I was not comfortable with traveling into the area. I would not be shocked to see HAL cancel them anyway. The cruises were-

N Statendam - 11-Nov-20 - 11 day Southern Caribbean Wayfarer
Overhead Fred - B2B with Nov. 22

N Statendam - 22-Nov-20 - 10 day Southern Caribbean Seafarer
Overhead Fred - with son & girlfriend celebrating his 30th birthday, B2B following Nov. 11

We are replacing them (sans son & girlfriend) with Nieuw Statendam, 31-Mar-21 - 18 day Southern Caribbean Wayfarer/Eastern Caribbean collector's cruise. Hopefully, cruising will be somewhat normal by then. If not, I'll be sending you another change notification!

I think you are wise on the November cruises.  Like you, I don’t have confidence in sailings at that time.

Veendam cruise cancelled.  Booked April 18th Zuiderdam transatlantic. Hope it's a go. It will be my first transatlantic.  Downside: one way flight back to US costs more than cruise.  Maybe the price will reduce as months pass.

Not sure where you are flying from but I always use Icelandair as the one way prices are very good.

Don't forget to try HAL's Flight Ease - they often have attractive one-way flights for transatlantic cruises.

I’m looking at that transatlantic too.  As others have suggested, check out HAL’s flight ease for your one way flight.  Sailing to Europe is much more civilized than flying 😉

You can stay longer.  Just try putting the date in the box 5 days after you disembark the ship and see what happens.
