BINGO !!!    Got it in one. Have done the transit 4 times, and wonderful to be sailing through the country-side amongst cows etc.  Tourists camping along the banks, folk on bridges, and resident householders along the way gather to watch when passenger ships make the 8-9 hour trip.

I am indeed - quite a surreal experience it was too. And all the while you think "what if this thing blows?" It was rumbling all the time and the ash plume changing in intensity  😨

Correct USA Hawaii, Kauai, Waimea Canyon..   Sure is..  Quite spectacular, as a mini GC,  in that, with clouds moving across where the sun-shine is, the colour changes are hypnotising..
