Anyone get this mail offer?

So today I received a flyer from Princess offering "up to $600 of onboard spending money and drinks, wifi and tips".

Sounds too good to be true but I'm wondering what the catch is as we are thinking of booking a December cruise.

Anyone else taken advantage of this offer??

This offer is from July 21 to August 22

Reading the very fine print, you have to book as Princess Plus which is of little value to us and would cost us $400 per person. We don't drink enough for a drinks package and we get wifi free already so I don't see the need to spend $800 extra for Princess Plus...guess it was too good to be true

always suspicious when I see——-“ up to $”.  
 

for my current booking 12 day I have the Plus package worth $600 pp with gratuities, tips for drinks, extra wifi I am ok with that

 

never received the up to $600 OBC. But my cruise has gone up a lot since I booked

haven't got the brochure .. yet ... but maybe something like $ 200 balcony, 400 mini and $ 600 suite ?

I just checked on the Princess web site and found that my cruise has increased by $969 since I booked. This is for the same type of room in the same area.

I’m booked on a casino offer, which gave me $1200/ cabin off published fare.

a) One catch is that it is only for "selected voyages".

b) Another catch is it is not for inside or oceanview cabins.

c) My offer said to Novermber 2022, not August.

 

It is $150/person regardless of which eligible type cabin is booked. So you would need a cabin for four people to get the full $600.

 

Must book by May 11, 2021.

Since it is good until just before the holiday season in 2022, it is not just for the earliest voyages.

Oopsie - I misread and was thinking 2021.  No need to correct me further and thanks for noticing. 

 

Doesn't help our Fall 2022 voyages as we are booked Inside.

If you don't know, then chances are pretty much 99.9% you don't qualify.  I know what they are, but I have never qualified.  You need to be a frequent flyer in the casinos - and the poker table doesn't count.
