Question about check in - app on phone or laptop?

I'm due to check in for my cruise on Thursday.  Does check in have to be done on the app on a phone or tablet or can it be done on a Windows laptop? I hope it can be done on a laptop - much easier to type.

I was able to do my check in on my Windows laptop.  You may be able to do it other ways as well, I just never tried.

I've done all mine on my laptop

I do all mine on lap top as well.  Print the Set Sail pass to present at terminal. 

 

I don't have the app, and don't plan on getting it.

It’s really handy to have the app to handle your reservations for shows and viewing menus once on board. Plus the scheduler and electronic cruise compass is nice too.

 

but I definitely agree. Checkin is so much easier on a laptop vs a phone.

I have both and use the laptop ...  bigger keyboard and screen .

And you can print the set sail pass as another poster mentioned.

I’m not sure but since I’m cruising out of Miami I am going on East coast time.

So I am going to try to check in at 12:01 am EST on 12/15. Will post if it works and what Boarding time was available.

It works.  Checked in shortly after midnight east coast time last night for our December 30th Jewel cruise.  Checkin opened today.  No problem.

If you check in on your laptop, it also shows up on the app.

Yes, mine does only when we cruise since there's no other choice....otherwise I only use a desktop.

We are supposed to be able to check in on Friday, so I will be up at midnight trying to check in Thursday night.

Dh has a desk top.  Mine is a laptop, and new one is scheduled to arrive today.   I also use a tablet.
