discru Posted January 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2022 Pre-Covid, Royal would sell a drink card on the longer cruises (7 + days). I believe it was something like $80 for the card, which was then good for 10 drinks, up to $13 each. They usually would sell these cards on day 4 or 5 of the cruise. Has anyone seen these cards for sale since cruising started back?

gatour Posted January 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2022 Even before covid these cards were hit or miss no matter the length of the cruise on the exact same ship, same intenary and even the same length of the cruise 2

Has anyone seen these cards for sale since cruising started back? On 10-11 nite seen it on day 8 or 9. Only sold when sales are down on that Cruise to make a Liquor quota. Do only B4B or longer, like pay Airfare once a Season, where might see them one Cruise and might not on next 3. Nothing to count on for sure and havent seen them on my Shorter 5-8 nite Cruises since pre-CV Edited January 6, 2022 by ONECRUISER
discru Posted January 6, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted January 6, 2022 Thanks, all! Was hoping they were starting to implement them again... and maybe more consistently now.
outtoseacruise Posted January 6, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 6, 2022 I haven't seen them offered on any ship since the restart. Since June I have done 15 cruises on Royal on different ships.
gracia98888 Posted January 6, 2022 #8 Share Posted January 6, 2022 My guess is that they would not be offering these cards right now. They are trying to be as paperless and touchless as possible. Even before Covid, these cards were hit or miss and not consistently offered.

cruisegirl1 Posted January 6, 2022 #10 Share Posted January 6, 2022 We’ve been on 3 different ships (7 cruises) Since the return and I have not seen an offered. Likely because many people buy the drink package, or perhaps because of the new loyalty drinks per day program. m
