I’ve spent way too long trying to figure out beverage plan costs, tip costs and internet costs. If it’s on the website, I can’t find it.

Help, please!

You have to go to the "plan my cruise" blue rectangle. (In your Royal Caribbean Account)

So I have to book it to see the total cost? I logged in, selected a cruise and now it wants all the guest names.

I just want to price it out before committing.

All pricing (other than the coffee card and grats) is dynamic. Grats is $14.50/day per person (+$3 for suites).

We’ve only been on one RCCL, but I am 100% positive I knew the total cost before booking.

When did this change and why do people book without knowing the total cost.

I am stumped that the cost per day for these things is not static.

What type of Beverage package are you looking at?  Also various packages for the Internet.

Thanks, but I guess I have to pass. I’m not signing up for mystery costs.

Yikes.

Beverage package is around $65pp per day. Tips are $14.50pp per day (correct me, did that go up?). Internet depends on streaming capacity, something like $20/day I think.

Oh thank you. I looked everywhere for this information.

You can find the cost of the cruise itself by doing a mock booking.  Select everything until you get to the page asking for passenger information.  In the upper corner will be the price of the cruise with applicable taxes and port fees.  As noted above, gratuities will be 14.50 or 17.50 pp per day.  You can prepay this or it will be added to your cruise account.  Everything else is an optional add on.

If only there was a way to search for information...

Which is exactly why I wrote what I wrote.

I have NEVER asked a question on this forum without searching, first.

Your snark is really appreciated, though.

Next time use Google to search.  I did and found the answer on the first page.

Thank you for the lesson. Can you explain what Google is? I’m not familiar with it.

For my March sailing on Anthem

Unlimited drink pkg $56.99 / day

Voom surf internet $12.69 / day

Voom surf and steam $15.99 / day.

3 night speciality dining pkg $109 pp

Unlimited speciality dining $192 pp

The sometimes have sales for various items.

You could go to the roll call thread for the sailing you are considering and ask there for prices for whatever you are looking for.

Back in the day, when you used to crank the computer to get it to ring the internet, I was a Altavista fan. Alas Yahoo got that one.

I liked Ask Jeeves.

Tell us what ship and sailing you are interested in, and those that are booked could maybe give what prices they see. As others mentioned, ships and itineraries  can determine the extra costs that some may want to purchase.

When I book as a solo, I book only cruise cost. I already know what the tips are, and I don’t buy all the extras.

That’s truly a terrible way to conduct business.

I don’t consider the tips to be something “some” might want to purchase, and the vast majority get drink packages.
