It still indicates 1 day , do you think Celebrity IT department could be screwing up

It looks like your screenshot is from the TA requirements page, vs. the sailings from Barcelona page.  They are different.

A new trick I learned hear on Cruise Critic is that you can withdraw your Refundable OBC in cash from the front desk.  We decided to use it for gratuities in cash instead of filling out the tipping form.

Was really easy.   Just went down and said I wanted to withdraw it and they handed me the cash.

How do we find out if it’s refundable OBC

On most (not all) Celebrity ships you can also get any OBC out on a Slot machine in the casino.  You have to insert your room card into a machine, select the charge to room option (cashier has all the instructions) then once you do that just cash out the ticket.

Brilliant did use some for slot machines then cashed out when we won

Hi Jim!  Thank you again for this terrific post--I feel like I am right there with you--the photos are great.  I was wondering, could you choose to have a room service lunch on the last day of the 1st leg of the B2B when the new passengers are boarding?

We are taking a tour to Windsor Castle -

When my Gastrognome and I got married in the early 1991 our first house was in Datchett, a little village on the edge of Windsor.

I remember in Nov of 1992 being unable to get to the Indian take away due to the fire 😪 ...so sad... though now much restored since then.  Windsor is a lovely little town.

My dad was at the chapel choir school as a choirister and sang at the King George Vs funeral in the St Georges chapel in 1936.

If you get to see the chapel it is magnificent.

Thank you for reprinting - to the asterisks mean anything?

No, they don’t!  Careless typing or copying and pasting on my part!  I’ll remove them next time I update so they don’t confuse anyone else!  Thanks for the heads up,

Joanie

Well, I’ve booked a cruise similar to the March one I pretty much missed due to jail. 10 night Eastern Caribbean on Silhouette January 30, 2023. I booked a RS since that’s what I was kicked out of. Hope I get to stay this time. 😎

Looking forward to seeing Laurence & others. I really did enjoy Silhouette.

Hope that works for you.  I think sailing in the Caribbean is less risky than attempting TAs or long cruises like the 52-nighter I have on tap for next year.  Which will get cancelled.  Laurence is a real treat to sail with!

We have mostly done Westerly TA's in October and November.   The timezones are much easier to deal with and the Seas and Winds have generally been MUCH calmer.

Good to know. Thanks for that. Looking forward to the rest of the B3B!

Please don't cancel now.  There is a lot of time and things may change.

Does X usually offer tours for b2bs on turnaround day? I’ll be on b2b with turnaround in Amsterdam. I would definitely take advantage of a tour if offered.

ive seen it happen where they wanted to deep clean, before Covid.  That was South America where there were a lot of B2B too.  We were B3B.

@happy cruiser is your 52 nighter next year the Edge repositioning to Sydney? Interested to know why you think it will be cancelled? We just heard on the news here in NZ last night that the government still hasn't confirmed when cruising will recommence even though it already has in Australia. Embarrassing. They might have done a great job keeping us safe at the start of the pandemic but we are now really over it😡
