I think Snibs has other ideas ! A solo cruise for example!

Yes - exactly this 😊, although if i did suggest just going by myself and leaving Mrs Snibs behind I think death would be threatened

Please let her know she can go .😊

we go in 13 days so have read  through very informative p and o email today.

N.B you may all already be aware that the current downloaded NHS Covid proofs with both vacs. and booster  QR codes now only have approx. 4 weeks before an expiry date.

So please don’t download until nearly ready to board.

we found out when we flew recently so need to re download and save everywhere incl. a copy in photos.

Thanks - will be downloading saving and printing off copies nearer the time - don’t go til August. Hope you have a great cruise and no issues with Covid

🤞as we managed to fly to Madeira and back ok at end of Feb.

This is our first time on Aurora - booked so long ago re itinerary so just trying to keep an open mind and not look at too much social media.

We personally had no issues on Brittania in Oct or Sky Princess staycation. At the time there were plenty of staff helping people at the terminal  too.

Will update when back as new post though.

all ready to do any needed passenger locator forms nearer the time. 😊

The electronic covid passes for domestic use and international travel, automatically update and give 28 day expiry date from the date of opening, no matter how many times you open them. If you open the electronic pass to be checked at the port, it will give an expiry date 28 days later. If anybody wants to set their mind at rest, open the electronic covid pass on the NHS app and the expiry date will be 28 days later, no matter when you last opened it.

Doesn't that assume you can access the internet, though ?

If you "save" the certificate, it does not  update.

That is just awful.  Also, it says that the travel insurance would pay, but I don't think it would for the passengers who subsequently tested negative.

The expiry date is now 6 months from the latest date of opening on the app.

But would you honestly believe stories in either of those papers. I would have to look close to make sure they got the date right.

I believe that they are accurately reporting what they were told which may or may not be exaggerated. What made me suspicious is that they said the fcc was much less than they paid for the cruise. At least they allowed P&O to dispute this.

I thought that was odd.

I don't read the papers, I must have read something one time and now they come up on my phone.

Seen that reference on another thread, but you have lost me.

Big story a few weeks ago, an MP got caught looking at porn during parliament and resigned, his story was that he had been looking at tractors and the porn appeared. Unfortunately this is not uncommon with links and people getting all sorts of stuff on their phones, ironically the guy could have been telling the truth but who was going to believe him?

Heard of the MP but not the tractor reference. I wasn't that interested in him.
