It has always been my understanding that the Casino on Joy will remain closed, while in Bermuda. I have not been there in 20 years and my wife asked me to check if that has changed. I assume it hasn’t. Please let me know as my wife would spend all 7 nights in the casino if she could LOL.
Thanks All !!!

Your wife will be a happy camper.   Casinos are open at night in Bermuda.  I believe starting at 9.

Starting this year the casinos can be open at any time while docked in Bermuda. No longer do they have to wait until 9:00 PM. Someone would have to report back from the ship the actual hours on Joy..

Happy gambling. NCL has always paid for a gaming license to open their casinos. There was limited value to pay and staff the casino  during the daytime when most people are off the ship. I guess that there is a business case to open longer.

Was on the Pearl 4/7-4/15. Casino opened at 9:00PM and closed at, I believe, 5:00AM. There is a new law in Bermuda that allows casinos to be open 24/7 while in port, but haven't heard of any doing that yet.As stated above, NCL may feel there would not be enough players during the day to justify the cost.

Were the tables open? Or is it just the slots?

Everything was open. They had a dealer at every table ( dealerS at craps and roulette.) With only 1100 pax on our cruise, frequently there were more personnel in the casino than there were players. You had your choice of whatever table/ machine you wanted to play.
