Will we ever see cruise deals like the ones back in March and May?

You need to cruise to other areas besides the Caribvean. Carnival goes to Europe, Australia,  Alaska,  South America,  etc.

Perhaps, I still work and own a business so it's hard for me to be away too long. I just went on an Alaska cruise in May on Princess, 65% of the cruisers were on their first Princess cruise; and, from what I read about the other weeks, it was the same for them. But, that's Princess, maybe they're different.

Thanks to everyone who replied! We were really hoping on Carnival coming out with amazing deals for the 4th of July weekend but we didn't see any major deals come out. Looks like the days of amazing deals really are over for the time being :(

Yes, we got the $200 balcony deal for the 12 day Northern Europe out of Dover on the Pride.

Same week we saw the Pride 9 day Dover to Rome deal for the same price and booked that too.

When are you going?

Last week I could have done a 7 day trip to Alaska for $38.  I never use the casino.  The price was available for 3 days (along with some other amazingly cheap cruises under $100) but then disappeared.  Keep checking your emails!

Thats a great deal . I got a few of those. and some amazing casino offers, I do not gamble. lol

Looks like it's the end of an era....

Fares are 2x-3x more expensive than earlier in the year. Seems like the deals are long gone at this point...

It's also crazy considering Carnival is making major cutbacks right now. I just don't think the value is there anymore if you're paying full price 😞

I think it's time to put the internet down for a while if you think there's "major cutbacks". Your average cruiser would never notice a thing. Even your veteran cruisers generally have to Google to find out what they should be outraged about.

Fares have always and will always be tied mostly to supply and demand.

We snapped up a few cruises during the Sailabration and Memorial Day sales! We found out we have some more availability to cruise this year so we're trying to figure out the best time is to buy one or two more sailings. There's quite a few good deals on my account but none are GREAT deals like we've seen earlier this year. What do you guys think? Should we wait a bit longer before pulling the trigger to see if better deals come out?

I am waiting to book more. Frankly at current prices I just will not be cruising, glad I scheduled three before the prices went up. Either the ships sailing this month are full or Carnival has decided no more rock bottom prices even to fill a ship the week before sailing.

I don't think that's fair. We were just on the Glory a couple weeks ago and were bummed to find out they did away with our favorite brunch item, Pancetta Scrambled. I don't know if I'd call myself a veteran cruiser, but if you've been cruising on Carnival since before Covid, you'd definitely notice the cutbacks.

I didn't say nothing changed at all. However, to equate things like "major cutback not worth its current price" to pancetta scrambled eggs are no longer an option, is a bit extreme. Especially with the insinuation that the world around us is still serving delicacies for breakfast each and every day.

Anyone that has cruised since the restart knows good and well there's been much more cut than just "scrambled eggs" so I don't know why you're being glib about it.

I wasn't saying that "no pancetta scrambled = cruise fair not worth value"

You said that veteran cruisers had to google the cutbacks to know what has been cut. That is simply not true. We are seeing the cutbacks first-hand. It was just one of many examples from my recent sailings this past year.
