Alcohol Free Wine?

We have just return from a Celebrity cruise last week and next month we will be sailing on the Radiance of the Seas. Our friends ordered Fre (the brand name) wine at dinner. It is alcohol free and it was surprisingly good. Does anyone know if it is available on the Radiance?

Looks like they do, but it's under the Sutter Home name and not Fre.  Fleet wide wine list and Gifts & Gear is only showing the Sutter Home non-alcohol wine available. Sutter Home makes Fre.  http://media.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/Domestic_Wine_List.pdf

Uuummm... grape juice.....

I know, but here’s the thing. The process removes the alcohol but the wine still tastes like wine, not grape juice. Now it’s not the best glass of wine, but if you cannot have alcohol because of health issues it works.

Hello,  we ae planning on sailing with RCCL again soon, either Liberty or Symphony of the Seas. Does anyone have current information (2024) about alcohol-free wine - Fre or Sutter Home for example - on these ships?

Is it fairly available at most bars?

Can you buy a few bottles and take them to room?

Thank you

I'm not a drinker, but aren't there 2 types of "Alcohol-free" wine?

1. De-alcoholised (removed most, but not all alcohol.  Typically less than 0.5% remaining)

2. Sparkling grape juice / fancy grape juice, etc - 0% alcohol - was never made with it.

3. Other??

Alcohol free wines are typically alcohol-removed.

I thought so... If the OP was looking for 0% alcohol, a de-alcoholised wine won't give you that.  Just something to be aware of in case it's important.

Agreed. "zero alcohol" is a trade/commerce/legal definition under a certain amount of alcohol. But if you truly need zero alcohol, alcohol free wines aren't what you're looking for.
