Cucumber water. Fancy.

Funny!

For bottled water drinkers, the tap in the cabins have chlorinated water. I find the taste objectionable since my tap water at home is not chlorinated. That being said, the filtered water in the buffet, restaurants and bars tastes fine to me. I suspect someone could use a Brita or other activated carbon filter to take the pool water taste out of the cabin water. We always buy the packaged water for our cruises.

The NCL website can certainly be challenging at times!

None-the-less, FLOW water ends-up being the same price no matter who purchases it.

The "Gift" section simply does not show the 20% Service Charge (that WILL be added).

24 cartons will cost $59.94 (not the $49.95 that shows in the gift section).

No the gift is 49.00+ 20% grats,  the package is $59.00 plus grats.  so no matter how you work it is is less in the gift.

I still can’t find where the “ GIFT Water” is… WHERE did all you see $49 😭 OR is that based on each ships? It’s no where to be found 😞

I could not find it at that price point, either (for any of our 4 reservations)!

For our next cruise, the water packages are under Beverage Packages. Prices below.

Yes, that is exactly what I find for each of our booked cruises!

However, I haven't found the ability to order water as a gift at $49 (+20%) as stated in POST #27.

And, the link to "order it as a gift" takes me to pricing as you have shown above!

Sorry, I misunderstood. Here's the link. It costs the same as a gift or if you order it from your account.

Thank you for the link!  However, even when I have tried using that, along with reservation number (or the generic info) it defaults to an error message to call NCL for help (or it takes me back to the page you posted).

We certainly don't need to order the water, but I was testing the ability to order it that way! 😀

As of 1/1/23, I believe that each cabin will receive either 3 or 6 cartons if you have the drink package as part of FAS. Of course this is a drop in the bucket for serious water drinkers but nice to take medication with.

I agree!

With Premium Plus Bev, is water by the bottle included and available at any bar to drink or bring back to the room?

NCL's "bottled" water (filtered h2O) in a carton "FLOW" brand, and is included with PPBP at most bars.  You can also get Sparkling waters at most bars and restaurants.

This is good to know. Do they offer a flat water like Panna in any of the restaurants?

NCL has Flow Water which is not served a plastic container but carton and you can find those at Wholefoods and Fresh Market. The Premium Package does not offer it but you can preorder it to be delivered to your cabin. However, if you like cold water, I'd just drink the filtered water from the buffet. I usually bring a steel water bottle. The fridge in cabin never get too cold anyway. After January 2023, NCL will provide the carton of water as part of the package.

Q: How does one fill those upscale coffee/expresso machine provided in Haven/suites - pods/capsules are refilled on a complimentary basis but ... does the room steward/butler also restock with water cartons as needed.  Or ... will this also change come next January ?

Asking for a CAS friend sailing soon with us, curious mind would like to know ahead.  He's been able to get bottled water, including premium ones from the beverage servers at the casino and/or bar counter there (only) for their needs/use back in their cabin.

For us, we believe in traveling/packing light and probably will just bring one tall, insulated bottle for hot water (from the buffet) and re-use the Flow water again, after rinsing them out, to get clean refills with a cup.

I still do not understand why you have to pay gratuities on water delivered to your room. Who are you tipping the guy who dropped the water off?

Frankie boy wants his bonus at the end of the year...the gratuities go into a bucket that provides salary (and other incentives) to crew.

On my reservation, the water packages are in the drink package section starting from $24 to 49 depending upon the number of cartons ordered.
