You have to call BCC or send them an email

Thanks, I will call this week.  I usually go to my cabin earlier than my husband.  He stays up and plays cards in the casino.  He doesn't remember anything called Blue Chip but who knows, he could have joined and not remembered.  Our last couple of cruises have been with RCCL.  Nothing since 2020, pre covid

If he's playing table games he's enrolled, however may need to login and ensure the receive promotional emails checkbox is checked

I exclusively play table games, primarily Craps and Black Jack. When you join a table the dealer will request your SeaPass, and they swipe it, it's my understanding soon as it's swiped you are enrolled into the program. Unfortunately the site is very limited on information and I haven't been able to confirm this yet. I've sent an email last week, but no response, I'm assuming with American Thanksgiving things are a bit backed up. We also didn't receive any offers for the BCC, but when I logged into the Celebrity site I see I had to select the request to receive notifications.  I really wish Celebrity made it easier to get communication. I had a similar issue getting my PP for CC. I had selected to receive the emails, but it wasn't selected in the right area, and it took almost a month for me to start getting those.

Based on the recent posts from people who have received the BCC offers, it seems to be a large mix of people with expired play time or ones in very low levels of the rewards. I'm hoping to get one at some point, But I won't hold my breath. Maybe I'll hear something this week, as things get back to normal.

Thanks , everyone.  I’ll speak with s casino host next month.

No need to speak to them. When you get your seapass cards it will say it on the card.

Like: ELITE / AMETHYST or CLASSIC / PEARL just as an example.

Pearl is their base status that only requires 1 points ($1 bet on a slot machine).

Just went on my first Celebrity cruise and called blue chip to inquire bout my tier.  I was expecting to be onyx but was told that I’m now Amethyst. I only played on penny and quarter slots and I’m pretty sure I didn’t cycle through $25k+. I’m glad to be amethyst but I’m just wonder if anyone has better insight as to how the points were calculated

Thanks

Earn 1 Tier Point for every:

> $1 wagered on slots

> $2 wagered on Video poker

Earn 8 tier points for every:

>$1 theoretical on table games

The casino has a figure for how many hands are played per hour, and then they try to rate the payer's "typical" bet.

That is what im hoping for, does blue chip document that anywhere on line?

Not that I know of. But it's not automatic, you need to speak to the casino host. TBH you should be doing that on every cruise you plan to gamble; get to know the casino host. You want also want to find out what onboard charges can be wiped out based on your gambling. Only the casino host know that and quite honestly only gamblers who are on top of their play and communicate with the casino host will they have charges wiped out based on casino play. It's the same on both Celebrity and Royal. On Celebrity the host will tell you to charge whatever to your onboard account on the last full day of the cruise make sure you get in touch with the casino host to find out what you can expect to be taken off of your onboard account. For us, we don't do ship excursions or specialty restaurants (unless special occasion) so our onboard charges are usually only gratuities. So many times for us on the last day we will find out how much comps we generated to wipe off onboard charges and then we'll go to the shops and buy stuff. For the way my husband gambles it's varied from $100-$250 comps to wipe off onboard charges. This is not the same as the points accumulated on the slot machine screens which you can convert to slot play.

So, for example, on our last Celebrity cruise in July on the Apex my husband earned about 38,000 BCC points (12 nt cruise). We had the casino host wipe out a free wifi package for me, a dinner for 2 at Fine Cut & $100 wine (birthday dinner with a cake!), AND we still had $200 to spend at the shops on the last day of the cruise. On this trip the casino host arranged the dinner since it was a special birthday dinner request. The dinner was charged directly to the casino and it never appeared on our bill.
