Do you mean "was it a casino promo"?  Regardless, suite includes premium bev---package type not necessary?

yep 🙂

I thought for a period of time there (when they were switching around from AI back/forth) that there were some people who ended up in suites without beverage packages and such. At least some people thought that they were not getting perks.

Gosh, that new card is ugly.  I always book my cruise according to the color of my card because it matches my hair.  There is no way I am changing my hair color to thaat burgundy!

with a last name of Dahmer ... some people tend to keep their distance

LOL, like a few other last names I can think of, hypothetically, one knows what happened in the short run, so I would not worry about that BUT would ask about family affiliation...

As I have in the past with 'familiar/known' last names...

bon voyage

Cranston is the best! He was always singing. I would love to see him on Silhouette at the end of the month.

I believe he left the Reflection this Sunday. Someone on our roll call indicated that he was heading home to Jamaica.

Another vote for Cranston. He was great on our last Reflection cruise was the server in Ensemble Lounge.

Blue Chip Club comped cruises in Retreat can be offered with AND WITHOUT a beverage package. It's all up to the Casino department and the inventory supplied to them. On that particular Reflection cruise we had a Sky Suite and there were no always Included benefits attached to it. So no internet, bev package, or gratuities. Depending on your Casino players club status you will get those benefits, so MY HUSBAND received his players club tier benefits of whole cruise internet and a classic beverage program. Since at the Sky Suite level a beverage package is not part of the cabin benefits it wasn't included. I would assume comped higher level Retreat cabins would include all the benefits that's part of the cabin but again not necessarily those that are considered extra always included benefits.

Who really cares if your seapass has a purple stripe or not?  Lucky for us we could care less….we always cruise in suites and have received excellent service throughput the ship.

They called it burgundy 🙂 - but, I suppose it's intended to give a heads up to some places on the ship. Not sure if that implies any different level of service (I would hope they treat everyone the same), but perhaps to allow a quick glance confirmation that your specialty lunch/dinner is included?

If nothing else, I think it does make it look a little snazzier !

Of course it means nothing this was just one of those fun/silly topics of discussion. Nothing more.

We've never cruised in suites and have always received excellent service throughout the ship. 😏

Should I be unhappy with the service on my next cruise I shall be sure to bring up your name!

"Why am I not getting the same level of service as davekathy?? They don't even travel in suites!!"

And we don't let anyone know our CC tier level. 😂

Little known fact: If you walk up to an annoying passenger and hold up your red card like a soccer referee, they immediately need to leave the ship.

What stateroom category and CC tier level do they issue the red card? 😁

Some may dismiss this as trivial. I just debarked Reflection on Sunday. We were in a RS. Our card did not have a second color. The indignity I suffered each time the Gelato attendant asked for payment for a second scoop was beyond humiliating. It took at least 10 to sometimes 20 EXTRA seconds for the person to check the cheat sheet and not charge me.  When dining we were seated away from the window one evening. Another humiliation even though it was at 2030. Hopefully this situation is now resolved. As I no longer need to print DYKWIA at the top of my landscape card I'll be able to leave my best Sharpie at home. Solves a another vexing problem in that I thought the Butler should mark the card with DYKWIA rather than causing that task to fall to a weary traveler.

On another note, Cranston is awesome!

Now, more than ever, I just know my 128oz size Grey Poupon mustard jar hoisted to my torso (like carrying a baby) on full display to God and everyone is going to get me the kind of attention and service that I deserve!

And all because...

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me!

It will be especially relevant to your Upper Suite Experience if you enlarge and prominently display the Sam's Club register receipt showing the purchase of your gallon of Grey.

Sam's Club, you say?!

Nay! Since I only cruise "upper crusty class," I shall fly in my private George Jetson jet (and it sounds just like George Jetson's jet when I fly it) to the Grey Poupon factory and buy direct!

I shan't be caught dead (or alive. Or sleeping) within the confines of the Club of Samuel. Oh, the horror!!!
