Mariner of the Seas

It’s been a long time since we sailed in Mariner. I just got an early Christmas present…8 day cruise from PC to Bermuda. 
Early because my husband saw the ad dating the sale was expiring. He’s such an innocent!

Anyway I jumped and booked it before he could change his mind, and decided to go big box instead of calling Royal. 
Now I’m slowing down to catch my breath, 

There’s no Park Cafe? No beef on weck?

No Sorrento’s?

I knew no Aqua Theater or Broadway show, but I need my beef sandwich and my pizza! Especially since I keep reading that the MDR dinner menu is shrinking. 
Can anyone relieve my mind, or drive the dagger.of reality into my heart?

The pizza is served in the Cafe Promenade.

Perhaps you’ll have an extra slice as you won’t be having roast beef on weck.  Or you will find another sandwich.

 

We sailed Mariner to Bermuda this fall.  It was a lovely trip.  The service was good.  We enjoy the food.  Don’t fret over one sandwich when you have the pink sand of Bermuda calling your name😉

We enjoyed Mariner in October. They have Playmakers, Dog House, Hibachi, Chops and Jamie’s. We weren’t there for the shows but enjoyed our time on the ship.

Just off Mariner.  Pizza- yes.  Weck-no.

 

Have to +1 for pmaymakers.  Had great wings there. Good as shoreline.  Branch out a bit.... 🙂

Mariner also has the Bamboo Room, which in my opinion is RCI’s best bar. Too bad it is only on two ships (Mariner and Navigator).

My Mariner trip this year was the worst staffed cruise I've ever been on.  They were inexperienced across the board and it showed.

Cafe Promenade is good place for a quick breakfast too. Pastries, fruit, parfait and my favorite the breakfast sandwich (like an egg McMuffin).
