We really enjoyed the concierge lounge, even though it was a hike.  We did not have a beverage package, so we used the coffee machine, got water bottles, and went to the happy hour a couple of times on our 5 night trip.  We also enjoyed the snacks, rather than searching the buffet for something we would like.

Were the alcoholic drinks and glasses of wine free during happy hour in the Concierge Lounge?

Agreed, we had some really busy cruises with bad weather on sea days (ex-UK of course) so the Concierge Lounge was a little oasis of calm and guaranteed indoor seating. We also discovered the knack of opening the little metal fridges to get more (cold) cans of soda when there were no servers around. And for our fly-cruises I always use the launderette next to the Concierge Lounge  - easier to sit and wait for the washer and dryer to complete there rather than walking up and down the length of the ship each time! (yes I know we could use the free suite laundry service but don't like to for casual/intimate clothing - plus this launderette was strangely free of charge on Discovery last September!)

Did you sail the Pacific in this suite?   We’ve sailed forward on the Enchanted out of NYC to New England, it wasn't bad at all.   But we’ve also sailed up from Mexico to LA and that was a bit of a ride just near the front.

We enjoy the lounge as well, as Princess doesn’t have coffee machines in the suites.  But we send the laundry out.

We did the September repo from Vancouver to LA so technically yes. But it was like a mill pond.

Does anyone know if there is a concierge lounge on the Majestic. I was under the impression that there was not one. If so, where is it located and what would it offer? Thanks!!!

Yes, the Majestic is a Royal Class ship and they all have a Concierge Lounge on deck 14 not far from the aft elevators. It should have the same standard offering for Suite passengers - Concierge service at certain times of day, coffee machine, free soft drinks, nibbles (small sandwiches, cheeses, breadsticks, canapes, desserts).  Don't know if it has the Suite Lounge complimentary drinks between 5pm and 7pm like the other ships as this has been a relatively new perk. Maybe someone else can advise.

Per the Majestic deck plans, yes there is a Concierge Lounge - Riviera Deck (Deck 14).

Yes.  They had a nice variety of hard alcohol, beer, wine, and mixers, plus seltzer. I think it was from 5-7pm.  Our cruise went to Mexico, and one night they had a fiesta with margaritas and special food.

Cool! That perk will come in very handy when we make Elite and decide to pass on the Princess Plus option, as it won’t be cost effective for us then. Hopefully this Suite “happy hour” option will one day be fleet wide rather than just on the 3-4 ships with the Concierge Lounge.

Sorry for all my ignorance, but are Suite passengers allowed to use it? I tried to ask Princess about it on an online chat and was told there was no lounge. I am new to Princess but have booked a suite and have not be able to get accurate information from their online chat service. Also wondering about the spa. I was told on Majestic suite customers do not have free access so we bought passes to the spa.

All suite passengers on Royal, Regal, Majestic, Sky, Enchanted and Discovery Princess can use the Concierge Lounge.  You are provided with door access cards in a named envelope in your suite on embarkation day along with a letter summarising some of the main perks (see example below).

This does not include free access to the spa on Royal class ships. There may have been some confusion in that complimentary Lotus Spa Thermal Suite access is provided on these older ships for suite guests -  Caribbean Princess, Crown Princess, Emerald Princess, Ruby Princess, Diamond Princess, Sapphire Princess, Coral Princess & Island Princess.

We were on the Caribbean Princess twice during 2022 and always went to the casino in the mornings.  This is also where a lot of the smoking non-gambling passengers hang out just to smoke.   At least since it was morning, the smoking gamblers were not as plentiful as later in the day.

One of our FREE suite amenities is below.

Great to see that Princess has added rum.

I wish I had known more about the suite perks before sailing Princess for the first time. For example, apparently the contents of the mini bar are included with the suite along with the minis of alcohol that are stocked on top of the bar. Also, even though the concierge happy hour is 5-7, apparently they will make you a drink anytime. I never heard a "no" uttered in the concierge lounge. One family with small children came in and requested scrambled eggs with bacon to be brought up to them. It was done. I was also told that any charges for sodas ordered at bars or restaurants would be removed from my account.

Did you have a beverage package? If not then the part a out removing charges for sodas at restaurants and bars may be faulty information...

Nope.

The lounge attendant had access to our account and could issue credits like guest services. He just did it. We didn’t drink many sodas but I think he took $6-$8 worth of charges off.
