Do they have any of the older games like Pinball or Top Dollar?

Thanks for your review.

Sorry to barge in..but I’ve only seen those classic barcrest games on the Splendor..and it was JUST ONE ($1 top dollar IIRC)

They have both. Top Dollar is a 9 way at $1 a line. I did also see Pinball.

one thing I thought of is if you had two friends, say two women. Pool your money into one account to receive the cruises and offers. Both play on the same card, even if at different times.

I’m up all the way forward.

casino is hammered busy. I was able to convert about 50% of my free play to cash.

MAJOR COMPLAINT - The public toilets near say casino and forward theatre are TINY. Single stall and one urinal. Ladies, yours can’t be much better. Too small for those areas.

BTW, I’m able to stream the Cin vs KC game on my phone. Watching in my cabin.

I one hundred percent agree about the size of the public restrooms.  A horrible design flaw.

I don't recall - are they any better at the other end (just past Grand Central near the fun shops)?

The coolest thing on the rescue was how good that pilot was. Initially, we were haulin’ it and he came up and hovered next to the ship and sat there for the longest time like he wasn’t moving, but we’re we’re going at a good clip.

I know it’s not Festivus, “But I got a lot of problems with you people, and now you’re gonna hear about it.”

This ship is NOT well planned. May be on the drawing board, but for first timers or maybe second timers, it has no real flow. The interiors just kind of wander to no place in particular. A lot of narrow hall areas, especially on lido. There could also be a little better signage rather than the tiny white ones with greyscale text. Yes, easy to miss. The signs by elevator say the spa is on 5 but you can only get there from 6. So you elevator or walk down to find out, you have to walk down, or if disabled, back on elevator. Bad planning or needs better signage on 5 at the elevators.

This ship is almost, or is, too big. If you want to do it all, you’ll need a vacation from your vacation. GO SLOW. Plan a return before you even board. Don’t try. Just chill and do what ever and do the other stuff next time.

Dinner waits varied from an hour at the Italian place to 30 minutes for Chibang. Deli sammiches are all premade, so it’s good but not “fresh”

Casino is confusing, but what’s new there. The dumbest thing is doing big Ultra Cruise party stuff right in front of the bar, no one can get through. Huge dumb clog. Gaming is busy which seems to make the machines generous. Busy can be good. I’m on plus side playwise.

I was sitting next to a guy playing Dragon Link, at $15 per spin. This guy had almost 40,000 points on the end of day one. I have 10x less and people think I play big.

Think about that, 40,000 points at $2.50 per point is $100,000 coin in.
BOOM!

Coin in doesn’t mean he put that much in. Think of coin in like this;

You put in $20 and you win a dollar here, five there and go up and down, all of that up and down counts. So while you may have put in $20 your coin in if your lucky may be a couple hundred dollars. It adds up.

4 miles onboard today and 13 flights of stairs.
I ain’t dead yet.

Even still; let’s say he was playing $25 per spin..that’s still pushing the button FOUR THOUSAND TIMES…even at a GOOD clip of 5x per minute; let’s even go better and say 400 spins per hour…homie has been pounding it for TEN HOURS!

People like this make me wonder..why cruise?? ***** Vegas would treat you MUCH better.

OMG. Thank you for putting it in perspective like that.

Bathroom door has an inch gap for ventilation. With the night light (which is more than we need) it leaks light into room.

take a hand towel, fold in thirds and lay over threshold, push corners back so door will latch. Fixed.

Good morning from Amber Cove.
I want to apologize if I sound negative, I’m not, I’m just objective and observant. I notice things, usually little things.

BTW, keep your politics off the ship. Don’t go wandering around in T-shirts specifically designed to disparage other people and political parties. Keep that junk at home and off the ship, you look like a jerk. Sorry…I ranted for a moment.

It is a beautiful ship, lots to do. We’re actually staying on board today, wifey-poo has a nail appointment and I have a pizza class at 11:30

Music channel on tv is the best thing on the TV. Zero live news. No local or National. Only news in CBSN which is CBS’s pre-packaged stuff and fluff

It's obvious that Carnival does not want to encourage people to hang out in their cabins !
