I made Sanria from the last bottle I received on EDGE and had a massive hangover after. Not going to do that again this week. 🤣

Or can you ask for a bottle of bubbles instead? Then bring it to bars to turn them into Aperol Spritz. Aperol saves all terrible bubbles 🫣

We were offered white wine, red wine, sparkling wine, or beer iirc.

The White we had was as Sauvignon Blac and tasted bad.  I poured it out, informed my Butler and was presented with a bottle of CK Mondavi Moscoto, as my wife likes the sweeter wines.

Sorry this is late but wanted to finish off our shore excursion from the day before yesterday in Costa Rica.

After the Oxcart Factory we were taken to a restaurant owned by the same family for our included lunch.  I posted the lunch picture earlier ..

There was, as you except a lot of colorful artwork around the factory and the souvenir store next door (same owners).

The entrance to the restaurant

The artwork to the left and right of the doorway.

The mural above the entrance — all these are hand painted.

In fact, this gentleman has been working on it for four months ..

And the name of the area where we were.

I actually had to pause in the middle of the above when our room service lunch was delivered.

Lunch consisted of chicken noodle soup, Caesar salad, and turkey club for my wife.

I had a mixed green salad with ranch dressing, and a turkey club (not pictured but identical to my wife’s).

She went with cranberry juice and I had an Arnold Palmer.

I believe I am all caught up now.  If I missed any questions or forgot to mention something you are interested in, please let me know.

After lunch I had some time on my hands so I decided to take a stroll about the ship and see if I could uncover any information regarding a phenomenon I read about on CC all the time but never experienced because we are not pool people or sun worshipers.

Of course I am talking about the elusive “Chair Hog.” From what I can determine from my walk about today the chair hog must be a hibernating animal and is currently in hibernation or has an invisibility cloak engaged.  You tell me.

Chair hogs are seldom found on a port day. They are sea day creature.

Great! Don't do anything that might get you in trouble. It seems every port is different. I've been lucky in that I have not (knock on wood) gotten yelled at or a whistle blown. It's a fun game to see what you can get but always be on the safe side. Loving the food porn. We will cruise Celebrity for the first time next April. Really looking forward to it.

I try my best to stay out of trouble.  I had enough of getting into trouble in my younger days.

We love Celebrity and think you will enjoy it too.  The service is fantastic and the crew and staff are absolutely amazing.

Ah, that must explain it.  Therefore tomorrow may be a better day to search for this elusive creature.  I will look to see what I can find then.

Orange juice, cut up fruit from the buffet and some booze from the bar. After all was mixed it came out to about 2L. 😵

Dare I ask where the 2L container came from?

I think it would have been much easier to simply ask the bartender for a sangria at the bar instead of asking for the booze lot make one.  But I do applaud your sense of adventure.

Very nice and colorful.  On the other hand, here in Chicago we have 50 shades of gray (weather-wise).

That would have been too easy. And I wanted to see if this wine was good for anything. Two Icebuckets in the cabin served as mixing containers. Never. Again.

On another note, the food at BLU was exceptionally good today.

1. Duck Breast Salad (I'd say about half a duck was used for that, (should be called Duck with a small side of greens)

2. Prime Rib

3. Crepe Suzette with a side of Vanilla Ice Cream

4. Chocolate Fondant

A very positive surprise after yesterday's lamb had an off flavor like a soap bar.
