sanmarcosman Posted June 13, 2023 #3278 Share Posted June 13, 2023 In 1974 a Mets Double Header ticket at Shea Stadium set me back $6 and a 16-oz plastic cup of Schaefer beer cost .25 cents. Good times. 3

It’s included in my metro so it only cost me $4 for a water from the hotdog guy. much less crowded on the return trip. got Video of both. Return probably is much better. good to see they aren’t using the NYSE as a billboard this time. Lucky you didn't need a visit from Spidey!

I was at UBS arena (where the Islanders play) a couple of months ago to see Bruce Springsteen- Beers were $22 and a Margarita was $28 and that is with the 10% amex discount. Ridiculous.

By that logic the beers should be $200 Edited June 14, 2023 by jimbo5544

That was the deal that got us the best closer in baseball but yeah we had to take on a bad contract for it. It’s fine but if someone spends hundreds of dollars on a ticket. maybe a thousand for a family, do they want to be in and out in 2 hours?

The longer you are there the more you will spend on food or drinks. Generally, games as long or longer than last night become tedious to watch, though last night was the exception. 😎
