Miami Hotels near airport

We are on a cruise from Bridgetown Barbados to Bridgetown in Feb 2024. Not an easy place to fly to. The best option we have coming in from Texas is to spend a night in Miami going and returning. We need something near the airport that has a shuttle service to and from airport. Not anything fancy just a place to lay our heads over night. Any suggestions.

I am staying at Pullman Hotel Miami Airport.  Don't know about a shuttle, but I am sure you can find that out on the website.

For convenience, you can't beat:

Stay at the Only Hotel Inside Miami International Airport (miahotel.com)

 

It has mixed reviews, but depending on the time of your flights, it could be worth it not to have to take any type of shuttle or transportation from or back to the airport in the morning.

Popular suggestion on this board is the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon.  There is a strip mall across the street with dining & fast-food options, as well as grocery, drug and liquor stores for your cruise supplies!

I believe they offer a shuttle from MIA also to this hotel.

Search for hotels in Miami Springs. They all offer free airport shuttle service.

Yes, we have stayed several times at Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon.  They do have a free shuttle from/to the airport that I believe starts at 6am.   Easy walk across the street to strip mall with Publix & a decent Cuban restaurant.
