Harmony of The Seas Door Decorations

Does the Harmony of the Seas have metal doors to hang decorations ? If so what have you been able to hang?

Yes.  Anything magnetic that you wouldn’t be upset to lose.

 

I use 2 magnetic clips to hang a sign on.  
 

Some people think this practice is silly but I like to easily spot my cabin down a long hall.  Its also fun when traveling with others or a group.

Agree on the magnets.  And they are always the cheap ones we buy in ports.  Indeed some cretins think it is funny to steal them or "relocate" them.  Types that need to grow up.  

 

Absolutely no tape!!  It pulls paint off the doors.  And those gummy stick on types?  Just as bad....leaves stains on the door.

OMG yes...Bucky put one on our door and it was constantly touched by the cretins, being turned upside down.  Took it back down after the next day.

Yup use magnets. I’ve never had anything stolen off my door, but it can happen. I think it’s really nice to see door decorations while walking down those looooooooong hallways!

Funny thing is the last night when we are packing up.   We will tend to walk right past our cabin after dinner since I have packed up the door magnets.  😄

Has anyone order one of those custom made magnets from them?

We've bought several magnets from Etsy before. Most recently we purchased one from TheCruiseConnection & the magnet was shipped super quickly. We've also bought several magnets from both MagicalEverydayATX and GraysonTagsandMore. We've been super pleased with both store's products.

The DH finds interesting things to make homemade decorations.  He buys the little round magnets in packs at Walmart, then glues them on.  He likes to get creative.  🙂

He might want to try magnetic register covers instead. You can get a 3 pack at Home Depot for $9 and just cut them to size. Add a little glue and you're good to go. I've used these to turn stickers into magnets with very little hassle.

We use this. We cut pieces to size depending on size and weight of item.

 It also has a self adhesive on the back. The roll will last thru a lot of decorations. Home Depot also carries it. Also on the bigger decorations we put our names on them and use magnetic hooks. It might be hard to see in the pictures, but in the top photo our names are on the cocktail decoration right above the words Hello Summer. Hopefully less likely to be taken. Amazon has a lot of cut cutouts to choose from. Posted info in case someone wants to find stuff.

There are also printable magnetic sheets. They are letter size. You can use the whole sheet or cut to size. I've done those a couple of times.

That should be OK - just don't use anything that would leave any residue after removal.

Most ships do not allow adhesives of any kind be used on the walls or ceilings. Magnets only.
