You book a dinner for two different nights and only pay for one of those nights.

And per a memo from the bean counters has to be night 1 and 2. Allure is enforcing this. Other ships are still saying if you pay by night 1 or 2 they allow exceptions to eat later in the week.

I paid for my BOGO on day 7 of my cruise - one cover charge.

Can u book BOGO prior to the cruise, or must you wait til onboard to book?

If you use on night one, most ships will allow you to use 2nd night when you want.

You need to book once you board.  The only way I have been able to book prior to boarding is by being on a B2B and making reservations aboard for the following week.
