Day # 2  -  (January 15th)  -  A Really Fun Day at Sea # 1. 

 

Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We were up at 7am to a partly cloudy warm day. The seas are fairly calm. Here are the views from our balcony looking forward and aft…..

 

 

 

That’s the Carnival Horizon behind us on the port side…..

 

 

The clouds clear up a little and we get a beautiful sunrise…..

 

 

 

Here are today’s Fun Times…..

 

 

 

 

I make a trip up to the Lido to get Patti some juice, and then I stop at Bar 820 for a coffee. Pat & Jim are sitting at a table across the way…..

 

 

We pause to bring you this important Public Service announcement (PSA). If you are coming to Bar 820 for a coffee, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT sit at the bar. You will not be served! You must go to the far end of the bar, where there may or may not be a line, to purchase your coffee. Once again, DO NOT sit at the bar if you are ordering coffee. After chatting with Pat & Jim for a little while, I head back to the cabin to work on the pictures. Patti, once she gets ready, will head out to take pictures of some of the venues before the people get out of their beds. Patti heads down to Celebration Central on Deck 8 where she sees the cast rehearsing for tonight’s show…..

They are not self serve but the attendant grabs one from the back and puts it in the microwave/not a microwave oven and two minutes later hands it to you.

Today while roomie Pam is taking in some sun and I head to the top of the ship. And try to work my way down to all the public decks.

 

Here is the jogging/walking path. And yes I am the bad girl that relized half way through I am walking the wrong way.

 

 

In interest for the people I make sure I stop at every bar that is open. I didn't know how to work this darn tap and ended up with half a glass. So, people the tap is timed!

Day 7 Megan and her Family Feud Captain and I formed a security group for the comedians. Megan was more of a facilitator but her captain and I kept them safe from flashers and other Jezebels. Not today Satan! Not today!

So glad to hear they have the Pimm's cup someplace!  I LOVED that at theBrass Magnolia on the Mardi Gras!  I even bought some Sloe gin when I got home to make them myself, but of course it is always better on a ship!

 

We are on the Celebration in a couple of weeks so now i know where to get one!

Patti is a great photographer and that camera is an amazing tool.  I really like how she takes a regular shot then a super-zoomed shot to show off its' charms.  Better keep an eye on her.
