Whimsy Posted April 29, 2006 #26 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I can't wait to nibble my way thru them all on our first Princess cruise. Hee, hee!
Cindy Posted April 29, 2006 #27 Share Posted April 29, 2006 It's a tie between the Love Boat Dream and any of their souffles. Mmm...I'm hungry!:)
Fuzzzy Posted April 29, 2006 #28 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I love them all. After a full meal I usually go for the sorbets. However, the only place that I ever eat Baked Alaska in onboard a Princess cruise. So, I vote for the Baked Alaska. :D

gooch47 Posted April 29, 2006 #31 Share Posted April 29, 2006 My hubby and I must be in the minority. We eat the desserts on the ship but find ourselves wishing for something more plain like apple pie or a brownie.
cjh Posted April 29, 2006 #32 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I love the almond paste stuffed peaches on Italian night anything else that night I get off the always available menu.
sellwingri Posted April 29, 2006 #33 Share Posted April 29, 2006 We just got off the Coral Princess last week and the cream brulee was to die for!! Teh souffles were great as well. That's more than I can say for the rest of the food - it was all pretty bland and choices not well thought out.
julieh Posted April 29, 2006 #34 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Raspberry creme brulee gets my vote Julie
mii Posted April 29, 2006 #35 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I also favor the souffles except any one that has orange in it because I am not a lover of oranges at all. Years ago on the Sky Princess they had a almond cookie that was to die for. But since then the cookie is not so good anymore. Also anything chocolate. lkmamom Posted April 29, 2006 #37 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I gotta say that we all love the raspberry creme brulee and that is a tough one because usually the same night they serve the suagr free swans with the chantilly creme...........I have always wanted to order both but try to be good.:o Linda
Crosboro Posted April 29, 2006 #38 Share Posted April 29, 2006 I'll go with the Grand Marnier, as well. And to think that my wife suggested we split one--NOT! I ate the other half of her's that she didn't want. You can always lose those pounds when you get home. The worst was the Love Boat Special thingy--not very tasty at all. cruzinchris Posted April 29, 2006 #39 Share Posted April 29, 2006 What the heck is swans on the Pond? Sounds yummy......do tell! LISA I'm not sure if it's the same dessert that I had once on Princess; I thought it was called "Chantilly Swans" or "Swans in Chantilly Sauce." Whatever...it was two light, airy swan-shaped pastries on a "pond" of a sweet, creamy sauce then dusted with powdered sugar and garnished with raspberries. I'm not really a dessert connoisseur, but it was heavenly. Bon Appetit! Chris
skarletohara Posted April 29, 2006 #40 Share Posted April 29, 2006 On the Sapphire last month we had their homemade Mint Chocolate ice cream. It was excellent.

Every time I see the words "Cherrie Jubilee" on the desert menu, I go for it... Every time I see the words "Love Boat Dream" on the desert menu, I go for it... Bobbareeno Posted May 6, 2006 #45 Share Posted May 6, 2006 Without a doubt.....Princess Loveboat Dream. My teenage boys each order two whenever it's on the dessert menu.......or order two if it's on the "always available" menu!!
T&J Posted May 6, 2006 #46 Share Posted May 6, 2006 ...Crepes Suzette or the Zeppli's....hmmmm but you have to be nice to the Maitre'd to get either as they are not on the menus. Tony

kokimojo Posted May 6, 2006 #48 Share Posted May 6, 2006 The best dessert is their opera cake. It is so light you can easily have two!
Princess Chatterer Posted May 6, 2006 #49 Share Posted May 6, 2006 Creme brule and love boat dream. Sometimes a tart sherbet. The butterscotch pudding needs major improvement and the baked alaska and the excessively long baked alaska parade needs to go.
Amy G Posted May 6, 2006 #50 Share Posted May 6, 2006 The souffles were heavenly. I beleive I had three on our last cruise (CB in March). I loved the hazelnut souffle, especially with their homemade ice cream. Their ice creams and sorbets are also wonderful.
