Day 3 Port Day Cabo

Got up around 9am, Wendy headed out to the beach to meet up with her Parasailing Excursion, I was so tired so I stayed onboard. The ship extended their Cabo Port hours until 5:30pm today, the people that got off the ship this morning like Wendy didn't know about the time change. It took forever to disembark, thats why they extended this port by one hour.

I took some great pictures of Wendy Parasailing from the Spirit. So far everyone onboard seems to be having a great time.

The Comedian last night BOMBED, she got a few chuckles from me but thats about it. Im sure the Hypnotist Chuck Milligan will be a smash.

We had Carribbean food on Lido Deck for Lunch, my favorite Fried Plantain Bananas, Spanish rice with kidney beans, Calamari Fridders and Shrimp. I also had my Grilled Tuna on White.

Ct Cruise Guy

Texas Hold'em although its a computerize table, its still regulated by the Casino Staff, the tournaments book fast so if you play make sure you check it out. There were lots of people playing the tables on this cruise. In fact I saw my first Royal Flush on a Video Pokers machine it paid 2075.00, that lady was so happy.

Wildewoman

The stewards here told me they only have VCR still, no DVD players. There is always some photographer taking pictures at all of the events, even at dinner, we are used to it so it doesn't bother us.

Truecruiser

I think I had around 10 Ice Cream cones now, the Mixed type, In fact I had one around 2am last night hehe We only saw one guy wear Jeans on the very first night, I will ask tonight if its ok to wear them for dinner. By the way, I have seen Balcony Separators open. your PVP was wrong.

Velvet1153

Sorry but Mrs Hughes bombed out yesterday during the R-rated show, I missed her on the PG show but others told me she bombed pretty hard then too. Tonights we have Chuck Milligan, one of the best Hypnotist ever. This will be an awesome show, we will probably go see both shows. She didnt bring her game on this cruise.

Kellywhitehills

Will take a look at that cabin from the outside, when we are in Mazatlan tomorrow. Will take a picture of it for you.

Frequent Floater

As you go into the Dining room on the extreme far left by the windows, there are 3 long tables with 7 chairs on each side of the table, these are for 14 passengers. I will take a picture of them today and post them so you can see them.

Sea u Onboard

We haven't met our CD Ryan Fitzgerald, we saw him for a few minutes during the Capt. Party he seems like a cool funny guy. Will be looking to chat with him at the Past Guest Party. The Capt. is Giorgio Pagano, I have sailed with him before. Hotel Director is Arno Prem.

Keep the questions coming !!!

Whats a "funnel deck" & why would only adults be there?

Linda

Hi Linda, The Funnel Deck used to be Adults only Topless Suntan deck.

Fred, any nude art on the Spirt?

Seems to be the topic of the day.

Haven't seen any nude art onboard, I will check out the Arts area later to see what everyone is talking about hehe.

This is Ryan's last cruise before going on vacation. The regular CD for the Spirit has been on vacation and will return on the next cruise, which I believe will be going to Hawaii.

I thought Ryan was personable and did a much better job than the utterly forgettable CD on our last cruise 2 years ago on the Pride.

I've heard Ryan Fitzgerald is the CD - what do you think of him?

Thanks for the info on the dining room Fred. Think I'll keep the aft tables of 10 for Alaska since daylight so long and will get those for 14 for our Mexico trip 08.

You are one great guy to take so much vacation time to share with all of us..

But of course a fellow San Diegan would!!! 78 here in East county today...

So who is the regular CD?

I can't remember her name, though I recall that it starts with an S. I'm sorry I cannot be of more help here.

FYI, someone was asking about the cappuccino. Cappuccino, espresso and cafe lattes are free in the Empire dining room with breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the nights we were going to stay up and watch a show I would sometimes get a double latte and I had a latte the morning we debarked. If you get them elsewhere on the ship you have to pay.

Fred,

Thanks for answering my questions, my son will be hapy to hear about the sushi, although I will stick to the deli..YUM. Could you possibly post at the end of your trip and let me know about how often the water slide was open, thank you so much. I just love the pics, Wendy looked awesome in her formal and the para-sailing looked like it was a blast! Thanks again for your time in posting and answering all of our dumb questions:p

Hi,

I love Wendy's hair, they did an awesome job. We'll be in the Spirit in three weeks do you mind me asking if it was very expensive? I would love to get one while onboard for formal night.

Thank you for all the info, I'm getting more and more excited by the minute and your live report makes me look forward to it even more.

Thanks

Nancy

Have enjoyed your postings. We went on the Pride last year and this year will be the Spirit for the Halloween cruise. You bring it all to life and make us feel that we are there with you and Wendy. Have a GREAT voyage all around. Looking forward to reading more about your trip and daydreaming about ours at the end of Oct. PS: Wendy looked great for formal night and brave parasailing. GOOD for her!

Loved the Parasailing pictures! You go Wendy!!! Hehe.

Fred? Any chance that you are going to check out Karaoke? On the Pride in January, their system was awful. I was just curious if all the ships are the same with their sound systems. If you are not planning on it, then don't go out of your way. I was just thinking if you happened to be there, if it was something you could take note of.
