Fred, my wife wants to do the parasailing thing. She has a few questions.

Did you book the parasailing through the ship or on shore?

How much was the parasailing if you don't mind?

How much "air time" do they actually get?

Thanks, Doug

And Fred,

I want to know if Wendy is scared of heights? I am and want to parasail and Zipline but it is a little worrisome to me! Maybe that hypnotist can make me NOT afraid of heights!

And thanks for posting the pics ,esp of you and Wendy. Now I get a feel for whom I am typing to!

It's been a while since I was on the Spirit, so hopefully you can clarify something for me, Fred.

I understand that there are two seatings at lunch as well as dinner, since there's only one dining room. For lunch, while I know you can always eat at any of the other "eateries", if you eat in the dining room, does it have to be during your "assigned" seating, or do they offer open seating for lunch?

Hope things are continuing to be a blast! :)

Day 3 Cabo Night

What a great evening, we first went to see Chuck Milligan the Hypnotist at 7am and dinner at 8:15pm, we were done at 9:15pm and I went to the Second hypnotist show, and also to the R-rated Hypnotist shows at 11pm. Chuck toned down that R-Rated show alot compare to when I seen it back in 05 but it was still good.

Dinner for tonight, French Onion Soup, Salad, Teriyaki Ribs and Top Sirloin finished it off with a N.Y. Cheese Cake. A wonderful evening. Wendy didn't make it to the R rated show, she went right to bed. By the way, I had the Punkin soup yesterday and it was great... so give it a try.

Tomorrow is Mazatlan and we have an excursion with Mazatlan Frank at 9am, will post more about that tomorrow.

Casino Sucked today, 60.00 down tonight, Im going to hold off and wait till the last day to play, thats when most of the jackpots hit.

Internet is down again tonight, so I will post this in the Morning or when I return from my Mazatlan Frank tour.

Frequent Floater, There are 6 tables that sit 14 paxs, 3 on each side of the Dining room. I took a picture of one and will post it later when I can Size it down and upload it. Temp here in Cabo was Hot and Sunny !!!

Piscesbaby, Hi, yes my laptop is the Dell 700m, travel size, works great onboard especially from my cabin.

SmooCruise, Hi Vicky, Thanks, Wendy is afraid of hieghts but she wasn't at all during Para Sailing, she almost did it here in Mazatlan but it was for only 5 minutes and they wanted more. Those 2 pictures I posted was her, soaring over the rocks and the close up.

Molly, The water slide is open and everyone is having a great time on it, Im suppose to go down it on Friday with some Roll Call members.

Kissykitty2002, Wendy paid 49.00 for her Updo because we got a discount with our Carnival Vacation Club membership, its normally 60.00 because she has long hair.

Ositabear, welcome to Cruise Critic. Fly down to La Paz tomorrow and have some Pina Colada drinks with us !!!

NeptunesGoddess all the Spirit Class ships pretty much have the crappy Karaoke systems, thats why I never go down there. There are lots of people singing on this cruise.

Uncle Doug, Check out JTWatersports.com thats who she booked with in Cabo. She was launched from a boat. It cost 36.00 and she paid via Paypal. She was the only one of the boat so she flew for about 20 minutes, could of been longer.

Jckvpa0, Sorry, the internet was down all night, so Im catching up now.

Dmfriedman, Breakfast and Lunch is open seating in the Dining room.

Thanks Fred. In 2004 the Inspiration's system was nice but they had little selection to choose from. I noticed that now they have a pretty good selection, but the system is not the best. I am hoping to get a ship that has both going for it. haha.

Glad you are having a great time. Can't wait to hear about your tour with Mazatlan Frank.

Hi Fred! Good to see you didn't stay in Cabo....although we wouldn't have blamed you!

Another pool question...does it seem that the college crowd (if there is one) hang out more at one pool than the other? Does there seem to be many college aged kids onboard?

Enjoy your night....we'll patiently await your next post. Right Molly? ;)

Whew! Finally a post to tide me over, I did't think I could hold on much longer:p Thanks Fred, I am afraid of hieghts but would love to try parasailing so you have given me hope.

PS the Roasted Pumpkin soup was my favorite on Victory, I am glad they are still serving it.
