Celebration - Man Overboard

The Celebration was returning to Jacksonville yesterday morning, when a man fell overboard. They are still searching for him. His wife saw him last at about 11pm Wednesday night. She said he was was an early riser and may have woken up to look at the Navy port near the mouth of the St John's River as the ship was passing by.

I don't understand how you can just "fall" overboard. I hope they find him alive.

I too don't understand how you can just "fall" overboard. You have to climb over some type of railing or be pushed. I live in Jacksonville and this was all over the news last night. Just seems odd to me.

It sounds like he got a really severe case of post cruise depression as they were returning to port.

 

Seriously, I can only think of two ways you could just fall off a cruise ship. Either by doing something really stupid, like climbing on or over the rail trying to get a better picture, or on purpose.

It is my understanding that the ship has video cameras just about everywhere except the rooms. Shouldn't they have it on film if he jumped or fell off?

Hmmm, he "went missing" about 4 am on the last day. Isn't that about the same time they slip your S&S bill under the cabin door? Could there be a connection?
