Best Beach and why?

Since its summer I was wondering what beach CCer's think is the best and why.

 

 

My favorite beach is in Atlantic City NJ south side of town Delancy Ave.

 

Shower, bath rooms, good lifeguards, easy parking and yo....you can get the local pizza, sub shop or even Castles deli will deliver to the beach.:)

HMC!!

Just wish that HAL did summer cruises in the Caribbean.

In the summer (and a few times in the winter) Carnival uses HMC. Someone has to take care of the horses in the summer -- wish it would be HAL.

Hal's HMC pulling to a substantial lead...............on my cruise with Zuiderdam I did get a good look from the ship as 20 foot seas made is impossable to board the tenders. Safety first!!!!!!!!!!!

Half Moon Cay, but closer to home, South Hampton's Coopers Beach.

I've never been to the west coast and I've been to very few islands, but I can't imagine anything in the world being prettier than the south beaches of Bermuda.

Cumberland Island, GA - a beautiful barrier island. Often we've been totally alone on the beach - other times we've shared it with one or two feral horses.

A private motu beach off the coast of Moorea in the South Pacific. Pure heavenly bliss.

Half Moon Cay.....Trunk Bay, St. John......the gulf beaches of Florida.

Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba.

 

You feel isolated even though you are far from alone, you can walk for miles and miles and the ocean depth is perfect - not too shallow.

 

Clear clean water, soft white sand... *sigh*

 

Varadero is a close second for me, but it's busier.

Hear you, KK! Many of us would love to go to HMC in the summer! :cool:

 

NOTE ALL: The OP was asking about SUMMER! There are places many of us love but can't go in the SUMMER on a cruise ship! :o

Actually I think Orient Beach is on the St. Martin (French) side. That said, it's a great beach to get a nice tan without those pesky tan lines messing things up. :o

Luv Palm beach in Aruba. The water is so clear and its very shallow. You can wade out quite a ways B4 its up to your neck.

7 mile beach in GC is up on the list too for the same reasons. :)
