When arriving at this port does one hand their baggage to be checked to one of the porters outside, or take it inside to check it themselves?

Porters will take it if you arent carrying on. Huge argument here as to tip them or not. i always tip a couple bucks per bag.

Porters will be outside.......you must leave any checked luggage with them......you cannot take it inside the terminal.

When we arrived on a shuttle bus, porters came and were waiting to take your bags and check them in for you. I always tip them a few bucks; don't want to miss those suitcases! :)

They expect tips and some of them will let you know it!!

And you might get to see if your luggage will float! :mad:

I drop off bags prior to boarding shuttle bus from parking lot. Don't have to deal with giving bags to porters along with rest of bus

In our experience with many cruises from PC that has never been the case!

The porters are most pleasant and helpful and are there to pick up luggage for departure and help those when disembarking with their cases.
