teralin Posted November 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2010 I reached my first milestone (20 cruise credits) whilst on the Adventure during the summer this year. I didn't receive any recognition of this. What am I missing out on? Is the gift better than the free keyring that I received in the casino after "winning" with my free slot pulls? A Commemorative Milestone Gift also known as Crystal Block, is supposed to be given to Crown and Anchor members. According to the June 1, 2010 enhanced benefits announcement, the gift is given ON the cruise that earns you your 20th CRUISE CREDIT. Another one is given on the cruise that earns you your CRUISE CREDIT number 30, 40, 50, etc. The block is approximately 4" wide by 3" tall by 2" thick and weighs around 2#. Here are a few photos of the blocks for reference purposes. It should have the ship name and likeness laser etched into the block. topanga49er Posted July 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2012 Just got off with C & A and here is the deal on "crystal blocks": where your milestone used to be 20 cruise credits, the first milestone to receive a crystal block is 140 cruise points! So you are well into D+ before you get a commemorative milestone gift. Subsequent crystal blocks are every 70 cruise points. hope that helps,
Pumbaamd Posted July 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2012 Speaking of the crystal blocks, does anyone have an extra Sovereign block to swap? Rick and Deirdra

Will we be eligible for a crystal block and if so, from which ship? Can we receive it onboard or will it be mailed after completion of the cruise? We will not actually become Diamond Plus until we complete our Vision 10 night cruise in March 2013 (JS, so double points). Thanks for your help! You should receive your crystal block on the Explorer cruise since you will hit the 140 cruise point mark on that cruise. Sometimes the LA presents it at the C&A party and sometimes it just appears in your stateroom. I've gotten one both ways. If you don't get it on the ship, call C&A when you get home and ask that it be mailed to you. It will be the Explorer crystal block. Enjoy! It was left in the cabin. It was of the ship we were on. You should check with the Loyalty Ambassador after boarding and let him/her know that you will be hitting that milestone. Bobal Posted July 30, 2012 #11 Share Posted July 30, 2012 We reached our 140 credits on Jewel last year - no recognition or acknowledgement from the LA. I questioned this with the very efficient C&A office in the UK when we got back home (having read on here that we should have received one) and received one in the post all the way from the US within a couple of weeks.
