family of 6 need a hotel in fort lauderdale

any recommendations for a hotel for 6. 2 adults and 4 kids (so at least 2 beds and 1 pullout) in fort Lauderdale? we depart on the navigator in december 2015?

Or an extended stay property like Marriott's Residence Inn with two bedrooms.

Another possibility - at least from what I read on this board - is Doubletree Gallery One.

We are a family of 6 staying near Fort Lauderdale in Hollywood at Riptide Oceanfront Hotel. It is a smaller, older hotel but the reviews on Trip Advisor are favorable. It is right on the beach and on the Broadwalk.

Hyatt plCe on 17 street has 2queen beds plus a sofa bed mnear port .Transfer back and forth to airpory ...small fee to Port everglades ...free breakfast

We stay here quite often

I would also look at the Embassy Suites.

It includes a very nice breakfast and location is good.

Embassy Suites, Springhill Suites, Doubletree Gallery One, Residence Inn will all suit your needs.

We used the Sleep Inn & Suites FLL Airport. They have 2 Queen Beds and a pull-out sleeper sofa that will accommodate 2. The room also has a small mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel was super clean , fairly modern and offered a complimentary airport shuttle and a free hot breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay and I would not hesitate to use the same hotel in the future.
