The common recommendation on this board for larger groups like this is to look at hotels that have "Suites" in their name. That is your best chance for fitting that many people in one room. Embassy Suites, for example.

Or an extended stay property like Marriott's Residence Inn with two bedrooms.

We are a family of 6 staying near Fort Lauderdale in Hollywood at Riptide Oceanfront Hotel. It is a smaller, older hotel but the reviews on Trip Advisor are favorable. It is right on the beach and on the Broadwalk.

We used the Sleep Inn & Suites FLL Airport. They have 2 Queen Beds and a pull-out sleeper sofa that will accommodate 2. The room also has a small mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel was super clean , fairly modern and offered a complimentary airport shuttle and a free hot breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay and I would not hesitate to use the same hotel in the future.
