Longest thread...

A thread "What is the craziest. etc." started Dec 4, 2004. Yep, after almost 10 years, still a few posts are added. As of this date, 70 pages and 1386 posts. Any one to top that?

Are you asking longest time wise or number of posts. I have seen several posts that have been closed when they got too big and a part 2 was opened

While nowhere near as old, the "Costa Concordia Recovery...." thread has 174 pages and 3478 posts. The "Concordia News..." thread has 195 pages and 3894 posts. Almost no flaming in over 7000 posts.

"How Many Days Until Your Next Cruise" is running strong at 5430 replies.

Hint: From the thread list, click on the work "replies" in the table header and it will sort the thread list by number of replies.

No flaming except at the ship's captain I would imagine.

You can't count number of pages, because the number you see depends on how many posts you are set for per page. I set my preferences for 30 per page, so I see fewer pages. Em

Several of the new RCCL Quantum of the Seas Roll Call threads are already on their second and third threads after topping some 5,000 posts each.

We are on a roll call that currently is on page 282 with 5624 posts. We leave next week, but with the current activity it will surpass that considerably.

I have mine set to see 40 posts per page.

We had over 6,000 posts on our Legend to Australia Roll Call. It was recently closed.

As far as length of time is concerned, there is an ongoing thread of "Worlds" Funniest Jokes which started on Sept. 29, 2004 and has had 4,304 postings.
