anticicruiser Posted November 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2014 I was wondering when the best time to eat is: 5:15 or 5:45? We want to be able to go to the show after we are finished eating with enough time to get a good seat.
Rare LHT28 Posted November 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2014 What ship? What time are the shows? What time do you usually eat?
paul929207 Posted November 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2014 The earlier you finish the better chance you have at getting a good seat at the show. So it if that is your priority than 5:15 would be best.

Note: Most cruise lines have two show times so both those eating early and late can attend. ;) LuLu

YubaSutter Posted November 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Best time for us is 6:37 pm.
cb at sea Posted November 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2014 When do you eat at home? Pick the time closest to that! Your tummy will thank you. The shows are scheduled around the 2 traditional dining seatings. If you don't have traditional seating, pick a time close to one of those time, and you will never worry about missing a show. sail7seas Posted November 20, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 20, 2014 We always had 8 P.M. Traditional Dining..... same table, same stewards every night unless we dined in an alternative restaurant.
Rare aussielozzie18 Posted November 20, 2014 #9 Share Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) We like to eat early so we originally booked dinner at 6pm. However, we found that even though we only eat mains and dessert, we felt we were rushing through our meals to make it to the 7pm shows. After watching us race off 2 nights in a row, our waiters suggested we book our table for 5.45pm. This was perfect for us. Nice relaxed dinner and time to get to the show before 7pm. This was on Rhapsody (RCI). Hope this helps. Edited November 20, 2014 by aussielozzie18
