Ok water slide it is! I guess 42 is never to old for the water slide!:D

1) The view along the St. Johns River before you get to the Atlantic

2) As always on Carnival , afternoon tea service

Dining on one of the back wing decks behind the buffet area - lunch....breakfast....snack.......whatever you prefer

Sail away, especially going under the bridge.

I would also recommend being on an upper deck when pulling into Nassau, especially when he turns the ship to back in. Just amazes me how they can turn those ships like that. Yes, I am easily amused....

A visit to the café for a treat....:D

Enjoy some good sandwiches from the "deli" at the back of the Lido between the Pizza and the bar... I think the deli is open late.

Just got off her less than two weeks ago. The Carnival Dream is my favorite Carnival ship, she offers so much more when it comes to entertainment, activities and food.

The Fascination lacks all of the above. But to answer your question directly:

1- Its a cruise

2- Out Island is beautiful

3- Cocktails are very good

4- Small quaint ship

5- Casino decent size seemed small at first but ship doesn't carry many passengers

6- Clean

7- Decent size room

8- If you do not participate in specialty dining there is none perfect ship for this

9- Lots of outdoor deck space

10-Easy port, Jacksonville parking right up to the ship

Listen to the band that plays at the Starz bar outside the casino. One of the few ships that still have this feature in Carnivals fleet. Sad that they are getting rid of the live bands.

Yes they were good but they go off at 10pm :confused:

Last October, DW and I had a bottle of wine here with the band, and danced until they quit.:D

Search out Tommy he is one of the bartenders and probably the oldest one in the entire fleet!! He started working for Carnival in 87 and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet on a ship!:) If you ask if he is working the other bartenders will know where he is! He usually works at the atrium bar

If they offer it, enjoy the Chef's Table. It's worth the price.

Fascination does not have any specialty restaurants or a steakhouse.
