  1. I loved the SV on the Beyond, but not for $1000 more than an Aqua class. I wouldn't pay that over a normal IV
  2. I've never booked a guaranty cabin, and never will. I want to pick where I am. If I'm paying thousands for a cruise, I'm not looking to save a couple of hundred and not being happy where they put me. I'll only get what they couldn't sell.
  3. The Premium drink package is part of the YC. You should have no problem.
  4. At the prices for the Icon, they can count on 2 people never stepping foot on that ship. My wife and I.
  5. I can't even remember the last time someone got a free upgrade of any kind, unless there was a big problem with a cabin, and the upgrade was the only thing available, but that would be on board.
  6. I watched the video with Laura, and couldn't believe some of her answers, especially about the butler team. She couldn't be more disconnected from reality. The same about food and why wasn't she questioned about the elimination of the OBC for suites?
  7. We've done 2 YC cruises, one on the Divina, and one one the Seashore. Both times it was great. The service was excellent, the food very good, and the perks were excellent, from the premium plus drink package to the Top Sail lounge to the private pool deck and restaurant. The only down side is when you go out of the YC for shows or other activities, it feel like a Carnival ship, but much more crowded.
  8. Thanks for sharing. I hope the positives come to fruition.
  9. The first thing I do when we get in our cabin is find the safe to put away our passports and phones.
  10. I'm waiting for Alaska, 2025 to open. Royal and Celebrity are the only 2 not open yet.
  11. I was on her last December, and had no problem with the burger. Hot and juicy. Not crazy about the fries, but I would think they use frozen packaged fries.
  12. I'm quite sure that they know what the fan base is unhappy about,. They just don't care, and i think their motto is " suck it up". Nothing is changing, unless we find a way to get more out of you.
  13. I booked a Caribbean cruise in Jan, 2025 through a TA with a group rate on the new Celebrity Ascent with the All Included (including gratuities) for the same price that Royal wanted on the Wonder with no perks other than my Diamond perks. The Wonder was for 2024.
  14. What you ask for on line doesn't always reach your cabin attendant. Just ask when you see him.
  15. The bidding is conducted by an outside company, not MSC. The same for all the other lines that have the bidding process.
  16. The YC drink package pretty much covers everything on the ship.
  17. The food hype is for the Snack Shacks, not the buffets.
  18. They did that on restart from Covid, but no more. We were on the Ovation in Alaska, and got $600.00 OBC afterr final payment. Now, it seems the prices go up anyway.
  19. Whatever you do, don't call customer service. You'll open a huge bag of worms.
  20. The short answers are yes and yes.
  21. I've been on over 25 cruises on different ships on most lines. In my opinion, the Beyond blows everything else out of the water. We are now booked on the upcoming Ascent.
  22. I live in the U.S. and can only speak about Miami airport. The only carrier still flying into Tel Aviv is El Al, Israel's airline. All others have been cancelled.
  23. I think that all the lines have probably gone down due to previeved value. As soon as the changes were made, especially eliminating the tips from the All Included to the elimination of OBC in suites, the perception went down. It may be of real value or not, but the perception is not. As more people book knowing in advance what's included, not changed, t I believe the numbers will go back up.
