I've been through O'hare, Atlanta, Orlando, LAX, and I can honestly say that in my opinion, DFW is the absolute worst.

The Royal Group made 2 mistakes in my opinion, though, obviously, it was done purposely. Both are the same. Putting a bean counter in charge of the group. I mean Jason Liberty, and putting a bean counter in charge of Celebrity. Bean counters don't care about customer's experience, just how to save money. A far cry from Richard Fain and LLP, who really cared about their customers.

We did the Chef's Table on the Serenade a few years ago, and got lucky. There were only 8 of us, so the conversation was great with no yelling from one end of the table to the other. Th whole dinner was excellent, but for us it was one and done. The price you got is really good. Ours, if I remember correctly was around $125.pp.

Given the cruise was in a war zone, Celebrity may waive the charge. The only way to find out is to call. What do you have to lose? the worst that can happen is you lose the deposit.

If the OP is having a problem that the PVP was doing, why not call for the Resolutions Dept. and skip the PVP's?

The elevator or escalator is in the terminal. To get on the ship, you have to take the ramp.

The one thing I never saw or heard from anyone else, is the ship is dirty. It's one of the cleanest ships I've ever been on.

We always book as close to the elevators as possible. Never a problem with noise. There's a wall between the elevators and the cabins.

We've done the Ovation, and the main reason is that it stays in Victoria for a long time. To the best of my knowledge it's the only ship that does. Most only stay about 4 hours, either afternoon or evening. The Ovation stayed there from 1 to 11:59, which leaves a lot of time to see Bouchard Gardens.

There's nothing happening at the Suez Canal.

We,ve been on the Divina twice, and the beds are very comfortable. The pillows are another story.

I've seen those rates offered by a couple of You Tubers. I still have no intention of sailing that ship. there will be much too many kids for my liking. Great for families though.

I guess the Celebrity pricing is because the higher ups think that all Celebrity passengers are rich.

Your TA is wrong concerning why the Seattle cruises don't go north on the inside passage. It's just the straightest way to get to the Alaska towns. Coming back, you do the inside passage going into Victoria, B.C., then onto Seattle. It's much cheaper from the U.S. to fly into Seattle than Vancouver, and a lot less hassle. As far as the glaciers, we've been to Alaska 3 times and have visited most of the glaciers, including Glacier Nat'l Park, and are in awe of them all. What ever you decide, I'm sure you will love it.

For us, the best specialty restaurant was Eden, and yes, you need a reservation.
