    I've done Glacier bay once, and to me it's a one and done. There are so many other glaciers to see and enjoy.

    With the prices we're paying and, eve3n more, what Royal's prices, not to mention drink pkgs and specialty dining, no wonder they're making a lot of money.

    There is no paying the difference with MSC. Even if you have an alcohol package with MSC, if you go over the dollar amount, you pay the whole thing plus gratuity.

    It's a $1.01 discount per night. How generous of them. LOL

    On my PC with Chrome, I can log in with no problem. The only problem I have is staying logged in. I've always been that way with X and Royal, but on X I have to log in each time now.

    I've been on the Equinox and the Ascent's sister, the Beyond. While the Ascent will be awesome, I would go back to the Equinox and save the money for things to do n the cruise.

    I just checked the price for my cruise in 2025, and the total savings was $14.14. I'll wait till Black Friday, and see where it goes.

    I just hope they put as much effort in the smaller ships as they do on the Monsters of the Seas.

    You're talking about a brand new ship that hasn't even had it's inaugural yet. Since people are willing to pay these prices, that sets the market.

    Their surveys are hit and miss. Not everyone on a cruise gets one. Why? I don't know.

    On MSC, you have to go Yacht Club, or be sorely disappointed. However, the YC is no longer a great buy. Their pricing on newer ships run over $6000.00 for a 7 day cruise plus gratuities. That being said, the service is impeccable.

    We've been on 3 MSC cruises and can't recall a single band that we liked. Not the talent, but what they were playing. Even the main shows left a lot to be desired. They're all the same, except for the costumes.

    Just the fact that I probably won't see a fist fight makes Royal worth the 50% difference from Carnival.
