  1. You would get Captains Club points for the category cabin you currently have, but would get access to thermal suites, get a bottle of bubbly on request, access to Blu as your dining room and water replenished as well as pillow menu, thicker robes and slippers, a nice X tote bag, a seapass card holder and an expanded room service menu (unfortunately you'd still have to pay the $9.95+ fee for delivery of anything but continental breakfast).
  2. We get unused OBC-R handed back in cash on the last night to avoid that penalty.
  3. They definitely still do it in the Caribbean.
  4. Your cabin steward will leave beach towels in your room the evening before a port visit. If not just go up to the pool deck the day before you need them and take them. You don't need to sign them out.
  5. X tends to be a bit quieter and adult oriented than Royal. None of the X ships even come close to the larger Oasis class ships, the largest holding slightly more than 3000 passengers. The food tends to be better, but with recent post-Covid cutbacks the differences seem to be narrowing. Royal offers more varieties of activities for families travelling with children than does X. You will not find water slides, bumper cars, wave pools etc. on X. The shows, especially on Royal are more varied with venues like the aqua theaters etc. X has 2 or 3 cast production shows per cruise depending on the length of the cruise and the rest are visiting entertainers. X doesn't require passengers to make reservation for their shows which generally have 2 showtimes per night to accommodate both early and late diners. Select dining is what X calls its Anytime Dining, but the concept is the same.
  6. We rarely bid because we like to choose our cabins, but our last bid several cruises ago from prime verandah to Aqua was "Pending" until two days before the cruise and accepted. We didn't receive notice until the day before boarding after we'd already left home. We saw it appear on our cc before it appeared on the website or app and didn't receive an accepted email.
  7. If you've already used all you can and fully rewarded deserving crew members and it's OBCR they will refund it back to your credit card as stated above OR hand it back to you in cash the last night of the cruise. If it's not the refundable type and I'm sailing with you I'll be very happy to help you spend it. DH says I'm excellent at spending money!🤣
  8. Funny, I got the email exactly 30 seconds after DH and I completed the quiz! Thanks to @1CruiserCruiserCruiser for posting the link.
  9. On the app, click on Dining> Murano> Menu>Dinner. You'll see the dinner menu. If you want to see the Five Senses menu or win menus click on those instead of Dinner.
  10. When you're on board you should be able to see your points in the app if you click on the person icon at the top of the page. It will take you to a page showing your cruise and at the very top it will say your name, Captains Club level and points total.
  11. That's so odd. I always have problems if I log into the site without an Incognito, but never with one. I'm sorry you're having problems. I guess you've tried deleting your cookies?
  12. Use an InPrivate or Incognito window to acces rhe X site always!
  13. Did you call it to anyone's attention?🤞
  14. The item you posted the link to is entirely different than one they provide. The one they provide is not multi outlet and most importantly doesn't have a third prong. The one you pictured may be a fire hazard and you could be endangering everyone on the ship. If you have a cleanliness issue, it would be better to carry sanitizing wipes and just wipe down the ship provided cord if that would make you comfortable. The cord doesn't plug into any part of the cpap that comes into contact with your face. All it does is provide power to your machine.
  15. That is likely to be confiscated. Why not just use the cord that the ship will happily provide and not take a risk of causing a fire?
  16. It depends of the ship, the weather, the climate you're sailing in and the Captain's discretion. It will be posted in your Celebrity Today and sometimes with signage.
  17. Your room steward will provide a cord and run it to the bed and tape it down to avoid a tripping issue. He/she will also provide you with distilled water if you need it.
  18. We travel with 2 phones, 2 kindles, 2 tablets and a smart watch and sometimes a computer. The multip-port hub (6 USB ports) does the trick. Everything doesn't have to charge simultaneously and we never have an issue keeping all the electronics up and running smoothly.
  19. I've always gotten quick response using this info. The CEO has changed but perhaps the Jennifer Morales contact would be very helpful. https://www.elliott.org/company-contacts/celebrity-cruises/
  20. Whenever I have had these issues with the X site in the past I just open an Incognito window and it works fine. I now only access the X site that way and haven't had a problem in years. (I hope I didn't just jinx myself!!!)
  21. Absolutely! The USB hub I use is okay for use with either 110v or 22v, that's why I'm able to use it with an adapter and don't need a converter.
  22. I take an adapter purchased on Amazon to use the European plug at the desk and then plug in a multi-port USB hub also purchased there to charge all our devices and keep the US plugs free. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJWLLDB/ref=syn_sd_onsite_desktop_0?ie=UTF8&th=1 This is a link to the adapter. The multiport USB I purchased several years ago and that particular one is no longer offered but there are many others available. Just be sure it's not surge protected. Most aren't.
  23. On embarkation day go to any specialty restaurant and you can make all your reservations for any of the specialty restaurants. We usually go directly to Murano which is on Deck 5 Aft.
