  1. I was able to add my kids to account who were in a different cabin using my credit card. I went to front desk to do this.
  2. I do not bring formal attire on a Caribbean cruise. I do have black pants and two dressy tops for formal nights and do not plan on missing the main dining room just because someone else might be offended by my chosen outfit. In what century is this? I have cruised Princess more than 20 different times and my observation is that less than 20% actually dress in formal attire.
  3. If you're going to the bathroom there is no need for a mask. The fumes kill all viruses.
  4. I have seen people get the Princess Plus the first day of the cruise. It was at the bar on Lido deck.
  5. My luck has been both bad and good. I am elite (whoopy) and my upcoming cruises did not reflect this in the travel summary. I sent an e-mail to my PVP and within two days she had corrected the summary to reflect my correct status (want that mini bar!). Now the bad and sort of good. Last February I was charged with $115 for Chef's dinner. This showed up on my portfolio on the morning we departed. I have sent several emails, used the chat line, and been on hold for over two hours. The first e-mail was in March. Finally, today I received a call from Princess and the person called apologized all over the place for not responding to my e-mails. She offered either a refund or to apply to my next cruise. I chose the latter. She also gave me additional OBC. I truly feel awful for these customer service people. Seems like everything as to get elevated to someone else in the food chain to get any kind of money problems resolved. Just call me the Happy Cruiser."
  6. I'd probably do it. Works out to 500 more each week or 2000 for entire cruise. I don't think I'd make it if I didn't have a balcony for a full month.
  7. ooooooooooooooh no! Here it comes. Wait for all the responses. Everyone has a different view on this. On formal nights I generally wear a dressy blouse and black plants and my DH wears a suit. Many other men wear a nice shirt and pants. Very few wear jeans and generally no shorts. Some dress up in tux and formal dresses. On less formal nights I wear either black pants or capris with a nice blouse. DH wears a nice shirt and docker type pants. Usually last night of cruise is very informal and practically anything goes. I've even seen some in flannel shirts but that is rare. Generally, cruises in Europe are more formal.
  8. My phone number for casino has changed. Does anyone have the current number?
  9. How do you go about getting a passport card?
  10. Do they offer any hot sauce to spice things up?
  11. There are two things I would recommend but I am not sure of the correct titles. First is there is sometimes offered a ship's tour. Get to see everything behind the scene. Given a robe, group picture, personalized stationery, and other goodies. I think we paid $150 each. Second is the winemaker's dinner. We paid $40 per person and it is well worth the money. You are in a secluded section of the dining room and get a different wine with each course. The head guy gives a talk about each wine and each course. Enjoy!
  12. The charges are not treated as cash advances. Gets billed to your account and treated as any other type of expense.
  13. I did book the Plus package so that would explain the $35.00 amount. Thank you for answering.
  14. I just prebooked for my February cruises (4 weeks) and was given 7 days of 4 devices for $35 each week. Maybe it was some kind of deal they offer on certain cruises.
  15. As platinum or elite you can prebook 4 wi-fi devices for 7 days for $35. I like this much better than the 250 free minutes before the change. You can share these with your companions and it would end up being $1.25 per day per device. I was able to do this on the medallion app prior to cruise or you can get this on board the first day of the cruise.
  16. I remember years ago there was a sitcom (think it was 3rd Rock from the Sun) with Jane Curtain and John Lithow and they were in a restaurant and John's character placed a stack of one dollar bills on the table and every time he wasn't happy with something he would take one dollar back making sure the server saw it. It was hilarious.
  17. For any of you leaving out of Fort Lauderdale and sailing on the Sky, I just received notification from Princess that we will be embarking at 3:30 PM rather than 4PM and that is for all Sky departures in February. We're on the entire month of February.
  18. I'd gladly pay to get a pack of the martini cards. Too bad Princess doesn't offer it in one of the shops on ship. If anyone out there wants to sell their cards, let me know. Love me a good martini!
  19. This issue will never be resolved. I can't believe we are already to a page 5 on this topic.
  20. I booked four separate cruises in February of last year for February of this year and have received the excursion credits on each one. I wasn't even aware that it was a thing until I reviewed my travel summary.
  21. Amazon has many ukuleles for sale that are anywhere from $30 and up.
  22. I noticed the new changes to the app and was pleasantly surprised. We are on Sky Princess for 4 weeks and I couldn't get my DMW times that I had reserved for the same time the entire cruise. Now it shows for entire voyage. Also, appears I can input some of my DH info so he won't need to input so much himself (he's got big fingers).
  23. I'd probably go with the Miami trip because you're able to enjoy the hot weather immediately. I've cruised out of LA and sometimes it's taken at least two full days of sailing to really enjoy the pool/sun.
  24. Also, on Lido deck there should be hamburgers, fries and maybe tacos available.
  25. Your cabin may not be as expensive as you thought. By booking a casino offer you usually get a discount on the cabin. Highest is 35% for interior, 25% for balcony. When making reservations remember to tell them you want the discount. \
