  1. I don't know but I was wondering if you can get during a port day on the sun deck... know Luminae itself is closed for lunch on port days.

  3. And reading the rest of this thread looks like I wouldn't be throwing away the whole deposit and could just pay $100 change fee to change.
  4. I was quite willing to throw $100 away for a cruise I was 90% sure I'd be taking. I only cancelled once due to a health issue. I'm not as willing to throw away $500+ 🙂 so I'll be booking closer to cruise date now.
  5. just wanted to check... can you still reprice nonrefundable cruise before final payment? thanks so much!
  6. Know this is old but in case any one is searching. I used then Nov 2021 and again yesterday, April 2023. Fantastic both times. Yesterday the winds from SE were too high and too wavy to go south to the popular Columbia or Palancar reefs. They contacted me night before to see if interested in switching to group or private jeep excursion with possibility of shore snorkeling instead. But luckily morning of they decided to go out but to closer reefs if folk were willing for changed itinerary. We went to Paradise Reef, Dzul Ha, the artificial reef and Jacques Cousteau statue near Sand Dollar Sports, and one other location our guide called Paradise Reef Dipper. All were drift/move snorkels where the boat followed us. We covered quite a lot of ground. Guide kept us moving. Very calm. Saw divers at 3 sites. Paradise and Dzul Ha were fantastic both fish and reef/fans and others quite good. As closer shorter excursion, only about 3 hours from their dock. Still prepared the pico de gallo and guacamole fresh and served with chips at end. Waters, soda, and beer offered. There was no one at their dock when we got back but shortly Carla's daughter showed up and transportation arranged. I'm not really a hang out at sandbar person so I enjoyed just snorkeling more. I'd definitely book with them again.
  7. And remember that schedules can (and do) always change... even if it originally says you're the only ship there you might show up and another ship already docked... as happened for me in May. So don't book just because it currently says your ship alone. That said no issue with both Freedom and Wonder there my last visit in Dec.
  8. I've been considering Liberty after the last two on Freedom. Might take another look.

  10. A 10x14 tray from Amazon worked great, fit in my backpack. Moved up to two 12x16 trays for last trip with my sister that fit great in my carry on.
  11. Person next to me on flight once spilled a whole glass of cranberry juice on me... I now always have a change of clothes handy.
  12. OP here. No sanitizer but 2 masks in each of our cabins on Freedom on the 5th. Had brought plenty of sanitizer and KN95 masks from home. Masked outside cabins. Got food from buffet and ate on my awesome corner aft balcony, 7408. It was a wonderful cruise!
  13. I got emails for The Key before my May cruise but not yet before my Monday one.
  14. Still hoping for response from someone on board now or the last week. thanks!
  15. When I was on Freedom in May Royal had provided a 2 oz bottle of hand sanitizer in the cabin. Wondering if still doing? have cruise Dec 5 and deciding on how much to pack. thanks!
  16. I called reservationsn and made mine once the cabin opened boarding day as I wanted the earliest time.. but as hardly anyone else was eating then I probably could have waited until I got on island.
  17. @Mary&Jim Hoping your symptoms stay mild and you recover quickly.
  18. I had the Key and Suite departed self-assist and asked and was not given the option to cut the line on Freedom back in May.. I had plenty of time before my flight so it wasn't an issue.
  19. I took a chance and 'jumped to' RC from Celebrity. And I've got a second cruise with RC in two weeks now. I'd try new and cheaper.
  20. I went in May for $89 first time. It was fun enough but wouldn't spend that much again. I enjoyed the lunch and it was quiet. I twice snorkeled over at Chill Island and twice hung out at the Beach Club. 3 weeks from now have day bed at Breezy Bay instead with my sister. I called yesterday to ask if she wanted to switch to the Beach Club for the $89 again but she said no.
  21. I wasn't commenting on whether they would honor a previous price just that it was quicker to get through with the crown and anchor phone number.
