I was under the impression it was required for each port like Halifax, St johns, etc. I am talking about a r/t to Canada with more than one port

i agree and I also wonder if they send emails looking for volunteers like the air lines do? Otherwise to me the those who booked more recently should be the ones to get cancelled.

yes I watched the WISH leave port on PTZ web and I found the horn to be rather awful sounding. They need to bring back the horn to sound like the other ships in the fleet. Question, how was the food in Marvel restaurant? You Tubers have been rather negative on this one.

I thought it was the Eurodam ship that had the loss of a crew member.

I agree on the gardens, I have done them twice in the past. My ship Quantum arrives late in the day and I just can't seem to figure out what is really worth seeing in the evening that I have not already seen in the daytime. I hate these late arrivals to such a nice place. oh well

hey Jim, JJ Cruise vloggers are on board. Two great guys who did a LIVE the day you left. If you see them go up and say hi as they are really great nice men who travel on ships a lot.

This is interesting as I know ArriveCan needs to be updated for each port. So if St John's is next, then everyone will need to update for that port once having left Halifax,' This whole ArriveCan is STUPID. It should at least ask for all ports when creating during the 72 hour precruise

I got to visit the Bell museum back in 2012 while on a cruise and it was wonderful. Anyone who gets a chance should not miss it

loving the pretty colored buildings especially the blue one with all the windows. that is what is so neat about northern climates that are often cloudy and rainy. They paint the building nice colors.

don't laugh but since the world is full of negative news etc, I have gone retro and I am re-reading all my Bobbsey Twins books and Nancy Drew books. I do mingle in current books as well.

I agree and perhaps not even 2024. But now HAL and others can do more interesting smaller ports in Denmark and Visby Sweden and Germany as well.

and people who adhere to the speed limit (or at least no more than 10mph over). And let us not forget the loud cell phone talkers who think they need to yell and on airplanes folks who blast their headspeakers so that the person next to them can't concentrate. I could go on and on given society these days.

okay so let me say it this way, RCI hopefully will RESCHEDULE tours to earlier time. Otherwise, a lot of passengers will have to walk around the port and try and book stuff on their own which IMHO is not such a good idea in case anything happens. And perhaps RCI does create shore excursions in conjunction with the tour operators. We do not know what really goes on behind the scenes, but I know a lot of the Juneau port excursions will need to be changed to earlier times. Almost half if not more won't go if they don't.

yes I agree but I was on a bus for a shore excursion and it was so painfully slow on the roads. and this was in 2016 too

well what else would you expect him to say. Right now any and all passengers are $$$$ to RCG.
