  1. You should be able to go directly here and click the Enter Booking Number tab and complete it from there. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/manage-booking/web-check-in No need to log in to your account. Bret
  2. This all depends on your neighbors. On the Divina, you can hear everything going on in the connecting room. If you get quiet neighbors, all will be good. Sometimes they have also removed the sofa and replaced it with a chair but not true in all cases. Calling them can be a nightmare too. I don't have good advice for this one. Guessing you didn't go through a TA that could go in the system and just change a cabin without having human intervention? Bret
  3. The MSC Foundation Marine Conservation Center. Article is here: https://travelweekly.co.uk/news/tourism/msc-breaks-ground-on-ocean-cay-marine-conservation-centre Bret
  4. They started requiring a printed version about a month or so ago. Bret
  5. Pretty sure that rep on the phone was just guessing. I currently have clients 4 days from sailing without a cabin number. Not unheard of for it to get down to 2 days which is where I step in. Bret
  6. Not a regular thing at all. But it does occasionally occur. Bret
  7. The agent you spoke with had no clue what they were talking about as that was completely incorrect. And unfortunately you won't be getting your old cabin back, unless someone happens to cancel in that category. They won't kick out whomever is in there now. Been dealing with MSC for 14 years, so am used to hearing about things like this. In my book, MSC stands for Most Surely Changes. Bret
  8. That was correct. Wasn't uncommon for Bella Interior to receive a balcony. However, haven't seen any comp upgrades for my clients in many months. Bret
  9. Not sure what you mean. "Effective 19 June 2022, fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to submit to pre-travel COVID-19 testing to enter the country." "Cruise lines may have different requirements for pre-boarding testing. Please check with your cruise line for specific details pertaining to your cruise." Both of those from the Bahamas government page. Bret
  10. Those cabins are actually considered Oceanview now in Category OR2. They are nice to snag as it gives you enough room to step out onto the balcony even if you can't sit comfortably. The area you mentioned is a storage area. Bret
  11. You should be able to now. I've done numerous ones for clients on the 28th sailing. Guessing the website just wasn't cooperating at that moment. I very much dislike that sailing ship too! lol Bret
  12. They still pay taxes as @cellfree says, plus the kids free sometimes only applies to under 12. Bret
  13. This was filmed in the shipyard a couple of months ago. Barely any inside finishing work had started. IMHO it's going to be a tight schedule. Bret
  14. This is acceptable per MSC. It does need to be printed out not an electronic copy. https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/vaccines/vaccine-proof/about-canadian.html Bret
  15. @bac513 is correct. Anytime Friday will be fine.
  16. The answer is it depends at what point in the cruise you test positive. Each port has an agreement with the cruise line as to whether disembark or remain onboard. So the quarantining onboard totally depends on when and where. They are only testing onboard if you have symptoms. And no, testing for B2B is not required.
  17. Had client upgrade onboard from a balcony to YC. They did not have YC perks outside the YC area. No complimentary drinks elsewhere on the ship for example. Bret
  18. Just for clarification @Lisichka, "reservation" in cruise line speak normally refers to when a booking is made, not a sailing. At least in the US. You would have made a previous "reservation" for an upcoming "sailing" or "booking" in March. Not trying to nitpick with you, just expressing why that language is confusing to other folks. Bret
  19. MSC has not been allowing medical exceptions to their vaccination requirement. Bret
  20. Think it is just a poorly worded paragraph for them meaning all sailings effective July 1st. The agents at the pier have no way of seeing when you booked. Bret
  21. Here is the menu from when Galaxy went from it's previous concept to what it is now in 2018. Some things may have changed slightly, but based on my eating there as recently as last year, the "experience" menu (what you get with the Duo purchase) is the same. Hope this helps. 22. MSC will not refund and advise to make a claim with your travel insurance based on my experience for clients. Most travel policies will cover death of an immediate family member whether or not they are traveling. I lost my mom in March during the time I was supposed to be on the Meraviglia. I hope your situation turns out better. Bret
  23. The free cruise change is applicable either on the cruise dates or on the destination. Such change needs to be performed at least 30 days before departure, for a new cruise to sail within 3 months from the original departure. Any cruise change must be requested through our contact centers. Taken from the TA site. Hope this helps. Bret
