Be very careful and manage your expectations for upcoming MDR meals. We've found that even the daily menus presented on the in-cabin TVs do not always match what is actually on the menus at mealtime. They are always close but it's not the least bit unusual to have one or two selections replaced by something else entirely.

I apologize. It was this part of your post #100 that led me to believe you were in an inside Astonished to see the Captain's quarters and how small it was compared to our inside cabin. Ours had a shower and toilet.

My thought is that $48 is an extremely reasonable price for the upgrade of 2 devices. I looked at your earlier posts trying to determine how long your cruise is so that I can try to import the math to match our upcoming 14 day cruise. Trying to determine our upgrade cost. Does mscwifi.com work only while onboard?

Both interesting and useful information. Much appreciated as our upcoming cruise is our first in YC and we've wondered about the cost to upgrade to streaming. Math is clearly NOT my friend and never has been so I have to ask about your posting. You said that you upgraded two devices. The screen shot says that the upcharge is $16 per day/device and the total is $48.00 after 46% off. I cannot decipher how they arrived at $48. Can you help?

Splurging and giving YC a try for the first time. We've seen differing discussions on the availability of gelato. Our question is this, when booked into YC, is gelato from the gelato shop included within the cruise fare or is it always an extra cost item?

Would someone be kind enough to explain this credit card pre-registration process? I've used a credit card to pay for the cruise fare and also to pre-pay for onboard things such as drinks, tours, etc. Does this not "register" my card for the cruise?

From the Princess website: Pier Address - Diamond Princess Daikoku Pier Cruise Terminal13 Daikoku-futo, Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama I read that the Diamond is too tall to sail under the bridge which is necessary to access any of the other piers hence the docking at the Daikoku Pier. I'm not terribly confident that Princess is going to provide a shuttle so I'm happy to hear that there is a regular bus that will be available to us. Thanks @BruceMuzz!!
