  1. God love you @c-boy!! You never disappoint. And often force me to trek on over to Google. Anatidaephobia is the irrational fear that somewhere, a duck or goose is watching you.
  2. If true, something else that will be blamed on the C virus. Where will it end? Rhetorical question. it likely never will.
  3. Guaranteed never to leak in your luggage on the way to the pier. https://www.amazon.com/WashEZE-Unscented-Friendly-Detergent-Efficient/dp/B00U9SFSZK/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1721H8NOML2QI&keywords=WashEZE+Travel+Friendly+(20+loads)+Laundry+Detergent+Soap+Sheet-No+Scent+Laundry+Sheets+are+More+Efficient+than+Powders+Pods+Pacs+or+Liquids+TSA+Compliant&qid=1652741397&sprefix=washeze+travel+friendly+20+loads+laundry+detergent+soap+sheet-no+scent+laundry+sheets+are+more+efficient+than+powders+pods+pacs+or+liquids+tsa+compliant%2Caps%2C297&sr=8-2
  4. Until they figure out a way to defeat this practice. The less said the better.
  5. Nope. Been there since restart.
  6. It has always carried over for us but here’s my “just in case” strategy used on every B2B. Ask this question of someone at the purser’s desk AND GET THEIR NAME. Just in case.
  7. It's inevitable but hey, it took about 80 posts to get here. That's got to be some kind of a record.
  8. Thanks for checking. I suppose sooner or later they will announce which are the "select sailings".
  9. Have the specific sailings been announced that qualify for the “Extra 25% off is available for new bookings only on select cruises sailing in 2022”?
  10. You and I are on precisely the same page.
  11. Since asking the question some time back, I've learned a lot about shipboard VPN. The success or lack thereof using any VPN is going to depend on 1) where in the world you are using it and 2) on which ship. Review the many online descriptions on the latitudes at which MN works best and those latitudes where it falls on its face. Outside of MEO coverage, it's difficult (I've often found it to be impossible) to have a workable signal without VPN inserted into the mix. With VPN, you'll likely get nothing. Within MEO coverage, it will largely depend on the ship. For example, my experience has been that the wifi signal on the CB is generally very good while the wifi on the Emerald is "the worst wifi at sea". As @Steelers36has so accurately summarized, YMMV.
  12. AA allows seat selection at the time of EZAir booking. Maybe others do as well but living near DFW, we’re kinda married to AA.
  13. I hope no one is planning to rely on the pitiful, pitiful Internet that’s available to passengers on the emerald. Absolutely the worst Internet at sea!! We were on the recently completed TA and swing around the UK so I speak with some authority on the subject. I hope you can find reliable wifi/cellular in La Havre.
  14. Our only experience in an S4 on the CB was back in July 2019. We were in R401. From time to time we would hear a little bit of chair. scraping on the deck above but nothing that we considered to be the least bit objectionable or worrisome. Our experience was the same as @voljeep Just not an issue. Just a personal preference, but wife and I generally don’t like what we refer to as the “sidesaddle” suites. However our objection has nothing whatsoever to do with any objectionable noise from above. We just prefer the S3 category on the CB.
