I have used VeriFly on two cruises and our flight to Amsterdam and back. I felt it expedited the process and that I was "following the rules" which reduced my stress level. I still had all my paperwork at the ready just in case but it was never needed. YMMV.

**** CARNIVAL COVID TESTING THREAD #2 **** JANUARY 6, 2002
ninjacat123 replied to CeleBrat's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
When you watch the video, he infers quite a few times how "free" the tests are. He said "our tax dollars hard at work" or something like that. -
That's nice! Were you on a 7 day cruise? Just curious because I was on a 5 day cruise beginning of June and received 2 free drinks. Thanks!!

If there is a P/D party, my mom and I wore casual cruise clothes, shorts and a cute top for me and pants with a cute top for her. We attended the P/D party beginning of April. My end of May cruise there wasn't a party but I received 2 free drinks instead. Have a great cruise!

What gate are you exiting to find George's? Near the tenders? Thx! -

I didn't even have a fridge in my balcony room on Ecstasy. My stewart kept us in ice. Roll with it American Lady!🤣 -
Hi Kmom! My family of four just got back from Europe and we each had a carry on and a backpack for 11 days there. Made a big difference with air and train travel. We were in Amsterdam and Paris, went to museums, fancy dinners on the river and Eiffel Tower and not once were we asked to mask up or show our covid vaccination cards. Had the best time and the food was wonderful! Just wanted to tell you in case you are considering a European adventure! Sorry the pic won't cooperate 🙃

My family of four (Me, DH, DDs 19 &22) just traveled 11 days in Amsterdam and Paris with only carry ons and backpacks. Fancy dinners, museums, sidecar motor tours and the Eiffel Tower etc, we were able to dress for any occasion. Our light packing made a huge difference with airports and train travel. Having said all that, a Caribbean cruise looks like a piece of cake to pack for now! Maybe DH and I will share a carry on for our Labor Day weekend cruise! Ok, I'm joking. Maybe. 😁

Look up The Krazy Lobster on FB and message the owner. He is quick to respond.

Costa By Carnival. Adults-Only Brand?
ninjacat123 replied to CruisingWalter's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
The best I see for that sale is $524 per person for MG. -
So....I booked a Thanksgiving cruise on Elation out of Jacksonville, which I think will then be the oldest ship in Carnival's fleet! DH and I with our 2 DDs in two interior rooms...let the games begin!

On our bucket list as well👍

Carnival/Guy Fieri announcement on June 27

I had a chicken sandwich on MG at Big Chicken and it was divine! I flew to Las Vegas, walked 1.5 miles and had a chicken sandwich at Big Chicken. So good! Please Carnival, put Big Chickens on all your ships! -
That is on my bucket list. Right now we are taking my DD who just graduated from college on a family trip to Amsterdam and Paris. 11 Days of Europe fun!! Of course my other DD who will graduate in 2 years wants to go to Japan. I've got to squeeeeeeze those cruise trips in there somewhere🤑!

Costa By Carnival. Adults-Only Brand?
ninjacat123 replied to CruisingWalter's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
If Virgin's cruise protocol of adult's only proves successful, then I think Carnival would be smart to "test the waters" (see what I did there😉) with a small fleet of ships that are not Carnival-specific. I love kids but it would be fun to experience cruising from an adult only point of view. -
My mom and I went to P/D party and sat in the back in the cheap seats. Waiters kept coming by with drinks and brought my mom a chocolate drink that she wanted to try. Sorry you didn't have fun.

Awesome! I have another scheduled for Labor Day weekend and two scheduled for next year. I'm slacking🤣must.book.more.cruises!

How many cruises does this total up for you since the restart? I was slightly stunned when I saw that I had 5 cruises under my belt since the restart.😱

Good Bourbon Old Fashion on the Mardi...

Maybe they are Filthy Cherries, it tastes like Luxardo to me. I usually get 3 of them in my Caribbean Manhattan. Practically dessert!😄 -
No Camp Carnival for kids under 5

Sounds like an awesome time!! Definitely take her to the shows! My DDs (now 19 & 21) started cruising at 4 & 6 and loved watching the "big shows". Maybe bring a pashmina shawl or blankie because the theatre can be a bit chilly. My DDs sometimes would fall asleep cuddled up next to me and Daddy. 🥰 -
On Ecstasy, Sunshine and MG the minimum was $5 for roulette.
-
If you port at Costa Maya, go to The Krazy Lobster! We took a taxi from port ($4/person) and had a delicious lobster lunch ($23/plate) and an hour long massage on the beach for $20. It was awesome!

That sounds yummy! I like the Caribbean Manhattan at Alchemy, not on the menu but the mixologists can make it. It does have a Luxardo cherry which I love😃
