Royal caribbean Broadway sales
Mikew0805 replied to cusematt4's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I like both Columbus & The Book. Effectors I can do without. Columbus was in addition to a Broadway show, just like Flight & Blue Planet. I wish they would get back to that. Broadway + the original. -
I have a boarding time of 1pm for Mariner. Not sure if I want to leave early to deal with whatever they have decided to do with parking, since Mariner leaves terminal 5 tonight, and probably returns to terminal 1 on Monday. Im sure we are parking T5 and shuttling back over from T1 on Monday. UGH.

Nope, sure didn't.

Yep there is definitely a difference between the two, and both are equally valid for an adult. I would LOVE someone to have the jewels to tell me in person what I should be willing to eat because someone else decided it was reasonable for other people.

Crown Anchor 25th anniversary giveaways

As long as the color they provide matches the C&A status. I certainly do not want to be using a purple (D+) colored one to keep my conscience, or my back side clean. 🤣 Also, not sure what those statuses that do not have a wash & fold laundry included, are going to do... 😲 -
Another cut being tested: Once per day cabin service
Mikew0805 replied to Tenderpaw's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Why would they get rid of those magnets? I am okay with once per day service, but I am still not okay with being woke up before I am ready for them to come in. -
Odyssey of the Seas - Junior Suite question
Mikew0805 replied to copter's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I didn't remember for sure, so I went through my photos.. I found this one. I do not think they connect. That is the divider between the two balconies. -
Yes, that is my perception of it. 🤷♂️

Casino Royale Redemption Question
Mikew0805 replied to surfjock27's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hi, If that is a 2212A07 certificate, in order to get the free cruise (Bonus) you would have had to book on board with Next Cruise or pay the $200 "book later" option and completed the booking within 7 days of disembarkation. All I can see on your offer is the 2212A portion the rest is blocked out, but with it being a $300 trade in value, it seems like it would be the 2212A07. Also, all certificates are valid for 30 days for the award amount, but as I said the bonus portion of it only has 7 days, and that must be initiated through Next Cruise while on board. If it is the 2212A05 or 2212A06 then the only thing lost for not booking with Next Cruise is the free play. -
wait, what, formal night is back?
Mikew0805 replied to mcatmcat's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Well the comparison that I made is not absurd, if you actually read what I said. I said it was more like an Applebees than it is a Ruth's Chris, I didn't say it was the same as Applebees... and I stick by that comparison, and do not need you to agree. I am okay with other opinions. This past Thanksgiving we went to a Bob Evans (better diner than Denny's if you don't know what Bob Evans is.. but still a diner) and besides the tablecloths, we commented that this was no different than the MDR on RCI. Even though I love to cruise, and RCI is my current favorite, I am not going to kid myself regarding what they are, and what they are not. Also, this is related to dress codes, as there is no way I would dress for anything close to Applebees, and would of course dress for Ruth's Chris. -
Me too for Jan 6. I hope the menu stays the same, I like the Tagliatelle & Garlic shrimp on night 3.

Mikew0805 replied to mcatmcat's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Especially considering the MDR is more like a Applebees than a Ruth's Chris. Actually, that could be turned around on you. You expecting everyone to dress to your liking might be considered selfish and only caring about yourself. If the host (Royal Caribbean International) allows it, then frankly it is none of anyone else's business. 🤷♂️ -
It's laid out differently. Instead of it being on 16, it is on 15. The dining area wraps around the boardwalk open area. Whether there is more seating or not... I don't know, but it sure feels like there is.

Agreed, I like Odyssey's WJ.

Just off Wonder - a few thoughts

Loved it as well, and will see it each time I am onboard. I really liked it a lot as well, but maybe I missed something. I thought those on the screens were the same performers as on the stage, and the video was pre-recorded to primarily show you what you could not see them doing on the stage. (the music and sounds coming from them vs. instruments.) I could be way off, but that is just what I thought. -
Hi. Currently, free play for the sailing is based on the offer. Offers found on the website will have it attached as part of the description. Some of the onboard offers (Instant Certificates) that you earn by the end of the current cruise you are on, have free play attached for future sailings, if you follow the booking bonus guidelines. The only other "free play" that there is, is by converting your points at the end of your sailing to free play. This is done in increments of $1 for each 50 points earned.

I have canceled in the past due my dog being sick when I had cruise line insurance, and got 75% FCC. Not even close to being frivolous for me.

It was not a 1 day cruise, it was a 3 day cruise. -

So this last weekend I asked the room steward to only come in the morning, and to please leave me an extra towel, just in case. Actually, it was fine. Yeah I took a nap on Saturday, and so the bed was not made when I came back and got ready for dinner, but really that worked out for me since all my pillows (don't ask how many) were where I left them, and didn't need to be arranged. I've decided it's fine for me! I hope they keep twice a day in place for everyone that likes it, and I think I can just start telling them to only come in the mornings.
