I usually stick with the classic package, but have upgraded 3 upcoming cruises to premium for just over £6 per day. I figured if I have 1 martini or 1 juice from the spa cafe a day, it would cover the cost. I had OBC to spend, so didn’t feel like it was spending my own money, which helped too.

Thanks- I’ll maybe check out some US travel agents before my next booking. We always book direct with Celebrity (either onboard or over the phone) and we have always been able to re-price if the price drops! In fact I think I’ve done it on every cruise - the last one being August 23. What makes you think you can’t reprice? I just call up Celebrity and ask.

Who knows? I purchased the x-pass for 3 cruises last week but they are no longer available to purchase. I presume they had a limited number to sell and they’re now sold out.

I’m curious if anyone in the UK gets extra OBC from their travel agent? If so can you let me know who you use! 😊

You need to order the “upgrade to premium” package. Full price is usually $20 pppd but heavily discounted just now.

There will be a voucher in your cabin on embarkation day (along with any shore excursion tickets). Simply attach the voucher to a laundry bag, or place on top of it when you leave it out, and there won’t be a charge for the bag. Attached is the slip I used earlier this year for reference.

I’ve taken a non surge protected multi socket adaptor (similar to this but with a UK plug) on board in my hand luggage and it has never been confiscated.

We have just booked our flights and hotels for next October’s cruise, and decided to add on an extra day in Yokohama at the end. I am so glad now! This looks like a great day trip - and there’s more to come 😃 Thanks for your wonderful trip report - I’ve really enjoyed it.

I’ve just noticed the Celebrity Pass (which offers premium wifi for two devices) is cheaper than buying wifi for 2 devices outright. I”ve purchased one pass purely for the wifi (which both myself and partner will be able to use on our phones). I’m not bothered about the other perks and sailing Concierge cabin so get an embarkation lunch anyway.

Following as we sail on Millennium around Japan next October. A weather report would be great if you have the time 😊

I’m European and would NEVER carry my passport with me when I leave the ship. If you want to have ID with you for the rare chance that you get stopped by the Police, take your driving licence.

Sailed in Aqua Class twice this year (Solstice and Reflection). Loved Blu! Service wasn’t great on Solstice (suspect there was a lot of new staff) but great on Reflection last month. We like the smaller dining room and find the menu options nicer. I’m vegetarian and there were always options on the Blu menu for me, but was offered the vegetarian menu from the MDR each night for more choice. We tried the MDR one night to dine with friends. The food was ok but the service was way way slower than Blu.

If you head to the celebrity website and go to manage reservation, then manage reservation again for the particular cruise, you will see the outstanding balance to be paid (if any).

We departed from Civitavecchia last August. We used Rome Cabs to transport us from our hotel in Rome to the ship, and the car took us right up to the terminal entrance. No need for a shuttle. Have things changed?

I echo the esim. I’ve used Truphone in the past. You can buy for 1 European country or all of Europe. Screenshot shows current prices for Spain. Once you download the app, you simply switch to the esim in your phone’s settings when you want to use. Really easy to use.
