  1. If you want one, ask the waiter to have one made for you for the following night.
  2. This is what the Princess website says for the port of Buenos Aires: Terminales Portuarias ArgentinasTerminal de Cruceros Benito Quinquela MartinBuenos Aires, Argentina
  3. Honestly, at this point I am not sure about the accuracy of cruise mapper. I was comparing the vague decks plans on Princess and those in Cruisemapper and I found 1 discrepancy at first glance. Princess says that it will have a Crown Grill but Cruisemapper has Sterling Steak House. Maybe things are a bit in flux?
  4. Princess is not the only one. We took our first cruise on HAL in May and we had the motion sensor lights in our cabin. I was looking forward to NOT having them on our upcoming cruise on the Sapphire.
  5. When we had the coffee cards, as long as you had an unused punch you could get free brewed coffee.
  6. Are you looking to add it as a payment towards an outstanding balance, or to be used as onboard credit?
  7. If you book with a TA they can take it off prior to final payment. If you book direct, call Princess and they can do it for you
  8. We are on the Sapphire's n 5 February sailing (14 day) and they just confirmed that, as of now, we do not need to test.
  9. This is what is says under "enhanced voyages" for your sailing: Enhanced Protocols This specific booking and/or voyage follows our COVID-19 Enhanced Protocols for vaccination and testing requirements. Vaccination Requirements All guests 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated. A booster dose is required for guests 18 years of age and older whose final dose of an approved/authorized COVID-19 vaccine is older than 5 months. Only one booster dose is needed to be considered boosted. Guests under 18 years of age do not need to be vaccinated, have a booster dose or apply for an exemption. Testing Requirements All guests ages 5 and older are required to take a medically observed COVID-19 Test. Medically observed PCR test taken within 3 days before embarkation. Medically observed or self-administered antigen home test must be taken within 3 days before embarkation. Please upload all required documentation to the MedallionClass app for a quick and seamless embarkation process. Global COVID-19 regulations and protocols are continuously changing and we may revise or modify these requirements (effective immediately) to evolve with the latest practices at any time. Please check back regularly for any updates. These protocols only apply to the specific booking number or voyage entered. As of December 2, 2022
  10. Both of our cruises out of FLL we parked at Park 'n Go. I made the reservation ahead of time and paid $7/day. It is a secure lot which has shuttles that run every 15 minutes while ships are in. When we dropped the car off, we were at the port within about 30 minutes of pulling into the lot. When we returned to FLL, I think we were back at our car by 9am
  11. I am still waiting to see if our February cruise out of BA is going to require testing. The itinerary prior to us (Santiago to BA) does require them, however, that is a 16 day as it goes down to Antarctica and ours does not, so it is only 14 days. I am hoping the 2 day difference makes the difference with testing.
  12. I was thinking the same thing. When I book clients on itineraries to those locations I make sure, in writing, that they are aware of the passport requirement.
  13. Hi, welcome to Princess! 1) Not sure, but, you can always log your mom into the app on your phone to, before you board, if necessary to set up anything necessary. 2) You should be able to book Dine My Way once final payment is made. On the app, under dining, (with you logged in) you can put your mom's booking number in and then choose to sit with her, You can then choose a dining time and dining room. You can choose the same time every night or change it based on your activities for the day. 3) Should be at final payment 4) OK, with the booking numbers linked she should show up under "travel companions". (If not, you can add her) As for shore excursions, which you can book through the website's cruise personalizer, each cabin still needs to book them separately under their own booking number. Then again, even with 2 people in the same cabin you need to choose who you are booking the excursions for in case parties do separate excursions. One thing of note, once on the ship you can locate each other. You are automatically able to locate your cabin mate, however, unless the other cabin linked to you has minors staying in it, people from other cabins need to approve to share their location with you.
  14. I am not sure I fully agree that it is due to no more pre-cruise testing as even with the testing people were getting covid. onboard. You could test 3 days prior, and either be too early to in the incubation to test positive, or you could be infected between being tested and boarding the ship.
  15. I cannot help with the engraving, however, if they go into their medallion app, then under "Profile", then "My account", then "Personal Information" there is a place to signify a "preferred name". I found on our last cruise that the crew was very good about addressing me as my preferred name.
  16. I don't think they come shrink wrapped. On our cruise in December we didn't receive any vodka because they were out of the small ones. I was able to trade 4 other bottles for a larger (375ml) one.
  17. That is true, but we rarely drink soda and this package does not include bottled water.
  18. We have starting purchasing the plus package. Between the 14.50 for tips, $5 internet (we are platinum) then we would always purchase a couple cases of water and coffee packages, it really is only a couple drinks a day, and with the coffee package, the specialty coffees are limited with the package, but not with the drink package, so I can have all the lattes I want.
  19. I was under the impression that it is how it is booked. If it is booked as 3 separate segments, then loyalty status can change as the segments change. If it was booked as 1 cruise, then loyalty remains the same throughout.
  20. Whereas that is true, I have seen the requirements mentioned on the embassy sites and then be removed. I know that with Princess, they are still requiring pre-cruise testing for cruises 16 day and over, so it might have to do with the length of cruise.
  21. I am assuming that at this point Argentina is not requiring pre-cruise testing as that requirement was removed from the US Embassy's website. It can, however, change at any time. As for Chile, these are the current requirements (I know that Argentina's were just posted)
  22. You can absolutely use yours to help them. Log in with their names, birth date and booking number.
