  1. You might see the luggage tags as a stand alone link. If not, they will be in with your E docs.
  2. As you thought, you will need their reservation #. The exception to that case would be if she booked through a TA that you know and (s)he would be willing to share that info with you. You can make the purchase through RCI or the TA and then have a copy of the receipt/confirmation that you can present to her.
  3. Not in my experience. I have done this multiple times and they have always issued us new cards with charging privileges. The only time we have gotten a "key only" card was when we asked for one to have access to the cabin our kids were in.
  4. Nobody on the ship will care. Once on board, go to Guest Services and tell them who will be sleeping where and they will issue new Sea Passes for the right room.
  5. I doubt they perceived you as a threat. I'm sure they knew who you (the ship) were. My guess is that the pilot wanted to show off a little and give the passengers a show.
  6. The only issue I see is that the tickets might be delivered to the wrong stateroom i.e., person A might get the tickets intended for person B. All you'll have to do is swap tickets around so that everyone has a ticket for the excursion they intend to go on. Don't worry about names, no one will check.
  7. Any reputable tour operator will know the schedule of the shuttles and will have you back in time.
  8. I had some in Barbados in March. It tasted fine and I'm still alive.
  9. Don't worry about checking in your entire party. As long as one of you has an early time, you can all check in at that time. I can't remember exactly where it is written but, somewhere in the fine print it says to arrive with your entire party at the scheduled time. As long as one of you has an early time, your entire party can arrive at that time. All this arrival time stuff may be moot anyway. They aren't enforcing it at many departure ports.
  10. I have never had a problem ordering and receiving a double. YMMV. I tip well, maybe that helps. And yes, I realize that a gratuity is added to the cost of the beverage package. I usually tip extra and I don't have to worry about getting my double.
  11. The policy used to be that the shareholder's OBC was not combinable with other discounts or OBC offers. Royal Caribbean changed that policy in 2018(?) so that the shareholder's OBC is now combinable with other discounts. I don't know why you have been unsuccessful unless it was before the policy was changed.
  12. For dancing, the Star Lounge will have various types of music throughout the trip. Check the Compass each day to see what is happening. Get your kids enrolled in the Adventure Ocean program. There will be A LOT of activities for them to participate in. Insist that they go on the first night, that is when friendships will start to form and they'll learn about all of the activities planned for the cruise. As was mentioned earlier, do not miss the ice show.
  13. Maybe you aren't able to do it on your device but some of us (at least reallyitsmema & I) can do it on the website. I don't use the app.
  14. Just know that this device is a power ADAPTER and not a power CONVERTER. It will allow you to plug into a 220V European outlet bit it will not convert the power from 220V to 110V.
  15. Then you should be entitled to a price reduction unless the sale was for new bookings only. If the lower price wasn't for new bookings only, I would call again.
  16. So when you're comparing prices, you have to make sure the lower price is for a 2B cabin. You can 't compare a 4B (for example) and get the lower price, it has t be for the exact same category. The deck does not matter, it's the category that matters.
  17. The European outlet is 220V. Look on the cord of the device that you want to plug into it. It will tell you what the input is. It will say something to the effect of Input: 110-240V.
  18. I have had price reductions being denied because the current price is for new bookings only.
  19. My wife and I have stayed away from the bigger ships for various reasons. The largest class we have been on is Freedom. We are now considering giving Oasis a try. We will book an Ocean View balcony stateroom. We can deal with a little noise but not a lot. We don't mind a long walk, we quite often get aft balconies on Voyager and Radiance class ships. Do you have a preferred deck on Oasis that you would recommend? Forward? Center? Aft? Why do you prefer this location? Thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to people's opinions.
  20. I have seen meet & greets and get-togethers for that age group on most RCI cruises. Times and locations will be posted in the Compass.
  21. I have always gotten a response confirming my request when I have sent one in the past. I sent a request for a 4 top next to a window for our Feb. 26th cruise this year and the response I got was that my request had been sent to the ship. That was the last I heard. When I got on the ship, I went to the dining room to check and I found that my request had been honored.
  22. Status is shared (to some extent) but the number of cruise nights is not.
  23. I took pictures for our first two cruises after RCI came out with that option. Both times the pictures were rejected at the pier and they took new ones. Since then, I don't bother taking them myself, I just let them do it at the pier.
  24. There are multiple shuttle services that will take you from the airport (IAH or HOU) to the pier for less than what RCI will charge.
