  1. It's very simple. You go to Guest Services and tell them who will be staying in each cabin. They will issue new cards that correspond to the room everyone is staying in and the on-board expense account for that individual. We have done this multiple times.
  2. You can opt out of them in the profile section of your C&A account.
  3. We sailed out of San Juan many times. We've done all of the touristy things. We just want to get on the ship, grab a drink by the pool and start our vacation. 🍹
  4. Each Diamond member, regardless of what cabin you are in, will receive one day of free internet. That means your family of 4 will receive a total of 4 free days.
  5. I'm probably wrong but I thought if the cruise was comped (meaning you didn't pay for it) you didn't receive ANY points.
  6. My wife's birthday is on March 17th. We usually try to plan our cruises to coincide with her birthday which means we are on a ship quite often on St. Patrick's Day. RCI does a great job decorating for St. Patrick's Day. There are shamrocks everywhere. MANY people seem to bring green clothes with them on the cruise to be in the festive mode.
  7. How far out is the cruise? Are you able to see your e-docs yet? If you can see your e-docs, scroll down a few pages and your Travel Summary, with times in port, will be there.
  8. I guess I'm confused. If you have your calendar, you have your itinerary. Are you looking the hours that the ship will be in each port?
  9. Ditto. We use the VCL for a pre-dinner cocktail most nights. It is usually very quiet and not very crowded.
  10. When you first log into your account, you will see your cruise listed. On the left side is the itinerary. If that's no help, Click on "Plan My Cruise. In the top, right corner of the cruise planner page is a calendar icon. Click on that and it will give you your itinerary. You can also click on the Shore Excursions tab then click on All Days And Ports.
  11. The "hall" you see behind those interior cabins is probably a utility chase for water, electric etc.
  12. Umm, I hope you're not too disappointed if you don't visit Turks and Caicos. I can see how you might be confused but your cruises are most likely going to Trinidad and Tobago.
  13. Perfect! This fits with what we want to do. We are supposed to check out of our hotel at 11:00. We have cruised out of San Juan many times. We usually arrive at the pier around 11:00 and are on the ship by 11:30. We're hoping that we can do that this time also.
  14. The bottles are full, they're just small. They are .375L as opposed to the more common .750L.
  15. We'll be boarding Voyager in two weeks in San Juan. We have cruise out of San Juan many times and in our experience, check-in usually starts around 11:00 with boarding starting around 11:15 - 11:30. I realize there are many variables that can affect these times. I'm wondering what people are experiencing recently. We have a 12:00 check-in time but we're wondering if they are starting to check in prior to that.
  16. 7620 is a great cabin for views. It's on the center of the hump so it allows you to look all the way forward and all the way aft without any obstructions. There will be a coffee table in your cabin but it is not as tall as a dining table. You'll have to sit on the couch or desk chair and lean over to eat your meal.
  17. My wife uses bonine and it works great for her. She takes it on the morning we leave home to help with issues on the plane and then she takes one every morning on the cruise. Dramamine (supposedly) causes drowsiness and bonine supposedly does not. My wife has no drowsiness issues using bonine. I'd like to give my opinion on the kids. For our first cruise with the kids, my wife insisted on giving the kids bonine because she didn't want to deal with them being sick. She assumed that because she gets motion sickness, the kids would get it, even though I never get it. I said how will we know until we try? On the second cruise she agreed to try it without giving the bonine to the kids. They had no issues at all. So, my recommendation is not to "force-feed" the medication until you're sure they're going to need it.
  18. I think the answer is yes to both. Unfortunately, this is partly how there came to be so many Diamond members. I can't say it's "abusing the system" because Royal allows, and actually encourages it.
  19. While the deluxe cabin is noticeably bigger, I personally wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred dollars for it.
  20. This is what we've always done too. I hope we can still do this.
  21. We found the deluxe balcony stateroom to be noticeably bigger than the standard balcony stateroom. A standard stateroom is sufficient for us but we did see a difference in the deluxe. As for the Radiance itself, we loved the ship. While not as big as some of the other ships, the Radiance class has a "cozy" feel to it. We love the centrum area and the lounge/bar area aft on deck 6.
  22. There will be free appetizers in the Diamond Lounge during Happy Hour but any drinks you order in there will go against the 4 loaded on your Seapass.
  23. We don't facetime but have used WiFi calling many times without having surf and stream.
